@Kittybombshell That depends on what you're looking for from the season. I'm more interested in the characters and less invested in the mysteries (though i want most of them answered). So i'm happy the season has been focussing on the characters. However I don't like that most of the characters are seperate. Hopefully they'll team up soon.
my guess is that e plane REALLY landed when e bomb goes off and e cast lives their lifes, as for why there's another timeline showing e cast is because e producers wans to let us know what is e island about, whats going on for e past 5season.

I just finished reading the third policeman, a book which is referenced in Lost, that ends up in a very similar way to what seems to be happening here. The main protagonist is actually dead for the majority of the story, & unaware of the fact. He is revealed to be dead only at the end, when the story loops back to what happened much earlier, but the main character repeats his previous actions seemingly unaware of having done it all before.
im sorry im sick of jack moping around,all of season 4 now these 2 episodes.i want him to kick ass again,i don`t like what there doing to his character.he was awesome in seasn 3.now he just looks deflated.wtf.hope this season concentrates on the original charactors,sick of all the new faces.but locke is still the greatest charactor by far.when he had to wait till last to be wheeled of the plane broke my heart..its gonna come down to a jack and locke/jacob showdown..great

This is how it ends. This is the last minutes of season 6 last episode too. Its a combination between a flashforward and a flashback. But this is how it all ends. How they got to this, is what we will see the next months. They somehow manage to get to this point - how??? Lets wait and see.
Well I think Jack and the crew in this new time line will somehow figure out what happened. Jack's face on the plane when they cut away from the blast just had a look of confusion for a moment like he was just awaking from a dream or something that he couldn't quite remember.

No thats not true the bomb didn't reset everything. It didn't work at all for the people on the island, there still stuck in there reality. But an alternate reality was created, where the plane never crashes.

This is definitely new footage of Jack on the plane, as before when Cindy, I think her name is? The airhostess gave Jack more alcohol, he went on about how it broke several airline regulations or whatever, and this time he said nothing, and in season one, we never seen Jack spill the drink at all.

To all those previous comments i've heard theres only going to be a single timeline with no more flashbacks or forwards.... good thing too, they just add to the confusion.... the thing is with this show not to ask too many questions, dont think about it too much and just enjoy the ride... its the best way to enjoy it when you do one day find out "the truth" bout so much of the crap that goes on during the show... i love it though... how pretty is Sawyer in those first few minutes btw :P

@flaviasparrow You are in for a shock mate, because I have seen the first episode, and for those who dont believe me, there are 2 time lines and you will see for yourselves later, this video is how it starts, and then it goes back to what happened when the bomb went off, but it didnt, they just went through time, Jacob is dead, but Hurley can see him

i think your right because some trailers show whats happening after the bomb goes off and they are still on the island in dharma time. if seasons 1-3 and 5 were flashbacks. season 4 was flash forwards maybe season 6 will have an alternete reality and we will see how their lives would be if the plane never crashed. who knows anything can happen in this show

I have a Theory!!.....The Man in Black and Jacob are living some sort of Groundhog day effect!!.....But over a long period of time maybe centuries as opposed to one day!......The numbers equate to the number of days until their loop is reset!.....like the Dharma hatch punching in the number reset!....Richard may be living his first time through the loop....unlike the other 2, who have lived it many time!....Just a Theory!!......We'll see!....Also, the Premiere is on, guess, Groundhog Day!

i really think that the scene from the pilot of the crash when jack drinks out the vodka shows that he knew about the crash. look back at it. he buckled his belt before the pilot put the sign up.

ok here's what I think about a few things
1.MIB Jacob's enemy/friend guy on the beach, is the smoke monster and he can become anyone he wants, ie the John Locke that convinced Ben to stab Jacov, also he maybe took shape of Jacob and touched all the pre-losties, which eventually ended with them all coming to the island
2. This season is gonna pwn. and another thing I'm kinda not sure about is that the writers said that there's not going to be any flash back so I'm interested in how it's gonna be

I think they said something like 3 episodes would have flashback/forwards, then they would stick to one time frame for the rest of the season..
As for point one.. I think Jacob was jacob that touched all the pre-losties because when 'the man in black' talked to jacob in the season 5 finale, and they were talking about the black rock and how jacob was bringing it to the island.. So if history repeats (everything else is progress) it would be Jacob bringing the losties to the island..
