Hi, I've been playing SRO since 2006 and I've put up with the same shit that you mention but I just can't stop playing ^^

It's a bloody fun game in my opinon and I'm not here to convince you to start again but recently Joymax added so called "Statues of Justice" which is basicly just a statue that GMs spawn and will kill EVERYTHING that goes near it and will also DC the person.

After you've gotten killed 10 times your acc gets banned so now there are no goldbots left :) Atleast on pluto :P

i dont play SRO anymore .... kingda... now i play RSRO - Russian SRo - less bots aways log in at 1 try (for now...) and thears alittel more item drop rate (:. In other words much better then sro....but its in russian XD - witch sucks!

I never had a problem with player bots, I just had a problem with gold bots. Believe it or not, PLAYERS that bot are actually online and spend more money than anyone else. Joymax needs to get a strangle hold on gold bots and limit them so that more players can get online. SRO is too much of a grind fest... I can understand completely why alot of people bot. You people need to seriously rethink SRO. gold bots arent just YOUR problem, it's everyones.

Well, you sayed it's bots who destroyed the game. I completely agree with you, but it's mostly goldbots. You will find bout 1 hand grinding player, 10 boting player, and ~400 goldbots/spammers... I hand grinded lv90 nuker on babel myself, but i moved to saturn, couz babel is most crowded of all servers... Now im boting, couz it takes a hell lot of time to handgrind and ff to lvl 90, and once you done it one time, you surely dont want to start another (all handgrinding players know what i mean).

Yea a while ago they removed the bot restriction from the terms and agreement, so they wont bother deleting the bots anymore. I think that in the future, supgold, a goldbot company, is hooking up with Joymax, and theyll be able to buy gold via their site. I really feel like quitting.

Do one step better. Go to Archlord. The company is ran by an honest UK company. They ban bots all the time. There hasnt been a bot that hasnt been banned that I reported. Their support also answers tickets quickly and effiently. Archlord FTW

Joymax has tried to address the log-in crisis, and has failed miserably. The premium ticket destroys the fact that the game is F2P. If you want to play SRO you almost have to have a PT; it costs 200 silk per month. This equals Silk Road is a game with a monthly fee, and free players can barely play at all because PT players flood the servers. Joymax had a horrible address to this problem and numerous other problems like bots, illegal gold and powerleveling advertisers and many, many others.

Yea i quite SRO and now im starting back up have to make a hole new acc....slow very slow leveling i dont like it and also takes 30mins-1hour to log on and sooooooooomany bots...i fill like quiteing again in 1 day im only lvl 10 in 1 hour and 20mins

2Moons is in beta, Archlord, and there are several others. I would suggest that you play an rpg run by either USA or UK. They have the best track record of great customer support and anti-bot policies. There is also a new RPG coming out by EA called Warhammer or something like that

i play sro over a year like u and im now lvl 77 with my char on alps, but i think i quit sro 2 when im lvl 80 coz of the same reasons. without a premium ticket u cant logg on anymore, so u need a premium to play sro. i miss the time when i was a low lvl and their wasnt bots who destroy the game

You bot cause you cant play the game the normal way. The whole fun of the game is the journey getting to the high lvl. Once you get there most people quit cause there is nothing to do other then hunt uniques and jobs which are boring. You fail to see the real fun in the game. LVLING. Who cares if it takes a year to get to a high lvl. If you cant play the game it is ment to be played then you shouldnt have it installed. So dont give me lame excuses as to why you bot. Well its not the Gms fault actually. I wouldnt be supprised if Joymax told the GM's not to do anything. My suggestion would be to read the Lineage 2 lawsuit. Lineage 2 actually told their GM's not to ban anyone for botting or they would get replaced.
