whats your cars like? i got a '79 rx7 with a 351w v8 and t-5 tranny and ford 8.8 rear end... i uploaded a video on it.... gunna get my suspension work done soon... need help figuring out what i need.... im thinking about coil overs..... my car currently runs about 11.2 1/4 mile will be around 10's after dyno tune... thats IF i can shift/launch lets just hope i can also drive a car as fast as mine because if i cant... imma wreck it on purpose LOL! hopefully i wont die though...

I run a stock 12a motor with a race carb and exhaust. Suspension is full coilover from Re-speed.com Great guys to deal with. Let them know you have a V8 swap and they'll know what you need...

Heh... I was wondering what that annoying car horn in the background was... then it dawned on me it was probably the rev limiter or warning. Mine was probably gone within 20 minutes of the dealership LOL. I recall one of the first mechanics I involved with that car race them. His comment was that the Mazda engineers didn't really know where the red line was - he raced at red line or higher for entire races and never had an issue. After that I didn't worry about getting close to red line! ;-)

Thanks guys, we had a great time. Sunday was a lot drier, but also a lot more hot and humid. By the end of the day, we were wishing it would rain. :)
