I have no opinion on if Avril Lavigne or Lace is a better singer, since they both use autotune heavily as an effect, and I have heard neither live to compare tonal quality. As for what I do know; the band that is Flyleaf composes more minor key, heavier music with lots of dynamic builds and anthemic riffs, which when compared to the much more pop oriented brand of rock music that Ms. Lavigne produces, I find Flyleaf more suitable to my daily listening pleasure.
