its a variation of flying fingers. think of it as bouncing a basketball really fast, but using a snare head and a drumstick instead to get the rebound. a lotta people crank their snare heads to achieve this effect, which is one of the reasons i'm sure his snare sounds the way it does. watch some lord marco vids, they are a good way to see how to get a better grasp of the technique, maybe some dom famulero too (sp?)

that was sweet he did fuck up twice BUT it was nothing big. he played it off perfectly. it was just a bit(very little bit) of with the tempo(and he dropped the stick). his palying was 9/10(and that being i never saw a dude that played metal ect. play the whole song perfect).
