Salam Alaykum! you are right, (in a way of moderate generations) but (peace yo)=?what. this is like saying Yas intead of Yaiyasmin. it is not a proper complete greeting in Islam. it is best to pronounce it full = peace be upon you. i used to say Salam too between friends but now i know why not to alter the beauty of it.

@BonaDun In sweden people know I'm foreign since I'm darker than swedes, but I haven't encountered much racism, I think racism in sweden is more based on behavior than looks and since I speak swedish like any other swede and behave like a lady ;) I have no problems.
