  • me likey

  • Thanks man, I dig!

  • where i can get the first beat like "boom boom boom" in a clearer version? please help me :(

  • @roxanneakane

I don't quite understand your question. Are you referring to the sound samples I used? Because if you are asking for the beat, it's a simple beat that I came up with. As for the sample, it's a FL Studio default called "Kick".

  • @roxanneakane oww sorry for the trouble ! never mind my question cuz i already used your Default Kick..

    thank you very much !!!

  • no offense but this is just my opinion: it sounded better in the beginning just cause u turned the eq way the heck down

  • @mw2king89

The goal of this video was to demonstrate that default sounds can be transformed into entirely different sounds using only the effects from the mixer and encourage people to use the mixer more efficiently. IMHO, I think the drums after using the effects sound way less dull than just plain default sounds. But you may be correct, for ever ear is different. But please consider that the sound you hear are not real-life quality that I heard.

  • @100PercentGOLD i know that im not saying they sound bad bcause maybe its just me.. i always add eq and stuff like treble and bass but never turn it pretty much all the way down

  • @100PercentGOLD Try adding tremolo

  • whats the name of that vst program and do u kno of any realistic guitar vst's like lil wayne rock type

  • @casper11jj

In order starting from 0:43, its sytrus and hypersonic 2.

I personally hate and never use guitars. But slayer is an ok VST to begin with. I am sorry I can't help you.

  • u got fl studio 9 ?

    but nice beat ^^

  • yes I am using FL Studio 9 now. But this was back in the days when I had FL Studio 7

  • Thanks for this.

  • dont just throw filters on ur drum pat.s people....if ur not using a sliced break put each drum in its own fx channel in the mixer.....otherwise the drums will bleed together......

  • Well, I gues I am one of those lazy people who don't put each drum sample in it's own channel when I DON'T HAVE TO.

  • Unless, I want them in a specified way, I normally put all my stuffs who use the same fx or who don't require fx in 1 channel. What's the point of putting reverb like 100000000 times when you can put all instruments in 1 channel and just add 1 reverb? Of course, if they all use the same reverb that is.

  • With reverb you can use send if you want the same verb on each drum.

I usually use the same or a few channels for drums. Kick is almost always separate (for sidechaining).

Also a good technique is to put an envelope over the hits with a reduced decay to leave more room for a more complex pattern.

  • That's very nice to know. Thanks for sharing your techniques. I like the envelope one

  • very interesting esp. use of the phaser. BTW where did you get that FL skin!?

  • Ty, I was just messing around and did this by accident as mentioned in the video.

I found the skin on google. Can't remember where because it's been too long. But just google Fl skins or something like that and you should find some.

  • what vst is that please

  • Hi, sorry for the long reply, I am on vacation right now. Anyways, there were no vst used in this video, only simple fl samples. But in case you were wondering, this is a program called FL studio.

  • at 50seconds

it has "hypersonic 2" wrote on it so i guess thats the name - i just seen that this time

  • ohh, if that's what you mean, ya it's hpersonic 2 >.>
