Wow that's an expensive metal detector.... $1,299.00 or more according to the web. Does it really matter if it cost $1,299.00 or $300 for a metal detector to be able to find lost coins? I am interested in gold finding metal detectors specifically. What would you recommend?

Congrats on the gold and the clad what settings did you have on the CZ21 ?

@caillou1970 I use it in autotune all metal mode..sensitivity 3...then after target located I check with 2 descrimination to see if its better than iron..then pinpoint and retrieve..lol....basically thats it so far ...goodluck n HH

its like a holiday from all the land signals ...lol...sometimes it's so peaceful it scares the crap outa me when the coil passes over a target and the cz sings out .....lmao

I reall enjoy this hobby..this is start of third year...selling the finds was a heartbreaker though all the work to dig..but everytime I turn on new detector

i remember all of the digs that helped me buy it. Atleast now the coins are bak in a collectrs hand better then in the ground lolol

Congrats on your first water gold Loco! Now you're hooked! You'll get many more I'm sure, there is nothing like water hunting for finding gold rings.

A tip - you'll get lots of fish hooks and lures water hunting, they tend to snag in your pouch and wear it out. I cut the top off a 1 litre plastic water bottle so it's the same height as my pouch is deep, burned drain holes in the bottom to let water and sand out, then tucked that in a corner of my pouch to drop hooks into to keep them separate.
