  • It looks like the goal of this campaign is to get more kids to enroll in schools, so that schools can receive more funding to give the kids a better education. However, the problems are much deeper than lack of funding. Administrators within the DPS have been known to embezzle money for their own personal gain. Them getting more money might just result in more money being wasted. Also, let's not forget that some teachers are just plain incompetant. It's going to take much more than increased

  • @mundanewarrior enrollment to fix this system.

  • The DPS students are amazing and wonderful to be around. It has to start somewhere, improvements are being made, but truly these wonderful students are being overshadowed by all the neative focus. I hope to start seeing more and more stories about the successes than the negatives these kids are forced to overcome on a daily basis. I hope things turn and people being to focus more on the glass have full.

  • How is this campaign going to accomplish anything?? It seems this campaign is simply to get students to enroll in public schools rather than charter schools. Bragging about how much free money your students get is not compelling. The fact is these schools are not successful and parents should make informed decisions on where to send their kids. Competition is good so DPS should improve their schools and then people will enroll their kids.

  • @pruettfan If no kids enroll they won't get money to improve the schools. Catch 22. this campaign breaks the cycle.

  • Yes it Can

  • Can that literacy rate be true? If so, v.scary.
