  • Awsome video

  • sharp sheet metal and bare hands... THATS HOW WE DO IT AROUND HERR

  • at 7:18 what was he spraying on?

  • @austinwall1 looks like rattle can filler primer

  • is that joe bonnamassa

  • This kid has got to be going deaf after the air-hammer and no ear-plugs.

  • If you can do it you can save save some time by just cutting a patch pane and spot welding it in from the new quarter but I guess they couldn't because of the damage to the rear.

  • @cutlass3501 Patch panels are often quicker, but we wanted this one to look as if the damage never happened with no visible seams.

  • its actually almost rust free !

  • good good...

  • one lucky chevelle

  • good job guys

  • you are lucky in america , replacment panels in england are crap , you are lucky if they are the right shape ,fitting right is a bonus

  • You Amercians are very lucky to get re-pro panels. Here in Australia we still have to repair the panel or steal one from a doner car.

    Good video :)

  • @Cptntasty ya but these stupid repro guys dont know how to stamp shit to the right dimensions so your probley better off stealing donor stuff. plus this is only a ford so who cares lol

  • good info i own a 92 civic si hatch im restoring that needs a quarter panel ..im goin to be doing it myself and im a noob at body work (gotta start somewhere) so even though im an import guy this vid deffinately helped..thanks!

  • @sciontcdude- Invest in a spot welder if you can. It will save you a lot of time. Also check out some of the new panel bonding adheisives on the maket today. Civics have relatively smaller panels & ahesive would work well. good luck with your EG!

  • nice video! ty

  • finally got to see some thing worth watching.

  • Nice Job guys... I can see you guys know what you are doing. Glad to see someone do a job right.

  • Hey Guys, like everything but maybe you should have the episode numbers on each vid so we can follow each stage better. Cheers.

  • Nice to see somebody doing qp repair the correct way!

  • Scott needs to wear ear plugs and wear gloves around that sharp metal.I know its like wearing a condom but it's for his protection.

  • thanks for the vids. anymore vids on paint guns. need a paint gun how to vidoeo.

  • all that work? i'd just buy a ford ;) lol j/p dont kill me with hate mail.

  • ha ha. i am restoring a 1964 ford galaxie, and believe me, they were not impervious to rust. in fact, this car has turned into an absolute nightmare. BUT, i have not given up yet! seriously. i would say, the first thing you shoud do before restoring a vehicle, is get a tetanus shot.

  • @aaronjam99 i agree! i think old cars should come with a at home tetanus shot kit! i took 12 stitches in my forarm from a rusted fender with one hell of a sharp edge on it that in didn't know was there till to late!

  • @derby0001 ouch!

  • I usually just reskin it instead of tearing down the whole QP

  • Just use duct tape.

  • How much does it cost to replace that panel?

  • @Bigtruck2007 im guessing 5 to 600

  • that was a really good video!
