I just saw this film about an hour ago. It is very sad. I hated how the pro Chinese Olympic people ask for dialogue when His Holiness the Dalai Lama has tried and the Chinese don't want to negotiate. Then they say we Tibet supporters are lying. That is all they can say because they have no true arguments,only bullshit.

I was sick of this debate and checked history and I was quite surprised. Tibet is part of China for centuries indeed. The dalai lama was on the CIA payroll and India accepted to grant him asylum against US help to developp the Atomic bomb.

So there is a lot of propaganda going on.

I think people have the right to choose their destiny and to have freedom but it isn't the world we live in today. Also the Dalai Lama is not a saint. He represents an ancient tibetan aristocracy and a small portion of the tibetans only. So there is no ideal solution here.
