@KopierRecht 98? I definitely wouldn't say that. I could argue XP as being the best still. But in my opinion Windows 7 is the best. It has the NTFS, it's fast, just as stable as XP. Windows 98 isn't any of those.
@medibosanac I have no idea, however, I also don't believe in "better" or "worse" operating systems. I am using Windows and Linux (Debian/Gentoo) side by side, depending on which task I need to do.
LOOOL fake as fuck. RAM is volatile, because you are such a dumbass i will explain what it means. volatile means as soon as it looses power, it clears so no u cant install windows to your RAM. how you faked it? the video is of a normal boot but its edited. :P
@mclmatty Read the video description how to make Linux cache the VDI image of VirtualBox. I'm sorry you didn't get it in the first place, so I edited the video description to make it more understandable to you.
@mclmatty yes, I'm using VirtualBox, as indicated by the video title. This video was made before I had a SSD; boot times from 10-15 seconds are nowadays easily achievable using a decent SSD and a modern platform.
@mclmatty actually you can install windows very easily to your ram, you just have to get a program that partitions your ram. once you do this, you can partition a part of your ram to function as a hard drive. dumbass
@microbhai My workstation has got 12GB of RAM. The HDD image was about 8GB in size. A simple "dd" as shown in the video description worked to put the image into memory.

The best Windows was and still is, 98, and I`m using it by an AMD Duron, which is quite fast!
