  • Lovely video! Reminds me of the early 1960s in the West of England when many expresses were double-headed, with a diesel loco assisting the steam loco. Usually the diesel was placed in front, to avoid smuts entering via the diesel's air intake system. Glad to see that no such qualms bothered anyone on this occasion!
