@Shadowtrooper09 No, that's not how it is. it's either a standard co-op game as the umbrella agents, or online vs against an opposing team and the infection. with various game modes for that, then Heroes mode, whic his basically just vs with character related equipment

I'm sorry, but Operation Raccoon City is NOT Resident Evil 6... You're thinking of RESIDENT EVIL 6. Leon Kennedy is alive in both of them. Raccoon city takes place between RE 2 and 3. They can't kill Leon... it wouldn't make any sense chronologically. Good job.

@Twilight9730 you don't know much about RE do you? Nemesis was not the only Tyrant. There was Mr. X in 2 and also Tyrant from the first game. Now, in RE2 USS did not survive at all so none of this actually happened bc the outbreak was far worse than they imagined.

I know that every body wants to experience that old feeling again, but I have not yet seen one person face reality about a series. It has to advance and progress to bigger and better things. If it's just zombie after zombie, then the story line won't go any where. They are experimentations and a scientist job is to create smarter and better weapons through their experiments. Tyrant, William, Nemesis, and Las Plagas. Wesker; possibly dead, but Umbrellas not. Ada Wong; close to Wesker.

Devs these days are trying new approaches. With each new gen they're trying to evolve the tps going beyond old school because of the times. They see going back to the old norms as a bad move and none of the new gen of gamers would want that as opposed to gen that grew up on RE originals

this game will be fine, dont get me wrong i miss the old resident evil where it took a bit of brains to figure stuff out and conserve ammo, looking for keys etc, im just happy we get to kill actual zombies again instead of the las plagas and uroboros, i dont think they can really continue on from re5 if wesker is actually dead so going back into the older games seems like their only choice
