the placement was suppose to be the superliga winner, but since Pachuca declined to go, the 2nd runner up the Galaxy was set to go. I know it's all set up, this is all about money and league/team exposure.

Carlos Ruiz, Clint Mathis, Celestine Babayaro...
unless they all went New England Patriots, there is no way the galaxy have the cap room for those players.....and with Landon Donovan included.
