@NarutoTheProphesized Not exactly. When you erase with Alcohol/Acetone you only rub it barely and usually only one swipe, meaning 1 layer. Yes, it erases the marker/sharpie but it also slightly weakens the card. The more you erase, the more layers of alcohol/acetone damage there will be on a card, it will at some point begin to fade/erase the actual card. You are in fact erasing the card when you rub with Alcohol/Acetone.

@XxDCL3G3NDxX This is partially correct. When you use a black sharpie to go over the I.D number at the bottom of a card, the card becomes illegal as you can no longer identify the card. Yes, the image, name, and effect are left intact but a piece of it's Identification is now missing. Highlighting the name of a card (making it "Gold letter rare") does not conceal the identification of a card. Proof of this are the hobby league rares (Red, blue, green, etc...). These customizations are legal.

@mrchink239 Please refer to MaddysDaddy video on it. There are mutliple methods on doing this, the most popular is using Hand Sanitizer and a knife and scratching off the back off the paint. Though this is the most efficient way of doing it, it does not give the best quality.

@eaglrombie13 Currently there is no way to make common cards into hollow cards. HOWEVER, my roommate (Slaycir) and I are looking into an ingenious process that could potentially turn commons into supers,secrets, parallel, gold, or ghost rare. Stay tuned for it! =3

@zach2k98 Acetone is your friend. If you can't get some acetone, get some sanitizer and get a cotton ball. put some on the cotton ball and rub the card with it. It will remove the marker, but be careful if you are using Acetone, as it will erase the image as well. =3. I'm going to make a tutorial on how to make secret rares soon, I'll explain it there :). @AbraxasFrenzy As with everything, the final decision is up to the judge, however, these customized cards follow all guidelines with legal cards. Any decent judge would be fine with these cards, if a judge has a problem with them, you should severely question how they became a judge in the first place.

@ForeverYugiohTV Blah, that's the number 1 complaint I've been getting, the price on the markers have gone up since I posted this video. I have not tried Bic Ultra Fine Point, but as long as they are permanent markers, it should be good. Just remember to give it time to dry out once you customized the card! :)

@lordofd The Name is fine. Yellow is in the "grey" area, as in, it's a loophole. It does NOT obstruct the font and it does not, in any way make it difficult to identify the name. However, if you go and use a black sharpie and customize the card, making the numbers at the bottom of the card, or set number, copyright, etc... any of that not visible, that your card is now illegel :).

You don't need to lie about them. A card is legal as long as you do NOT cover up any text or symbols and as long as you can recognize the card from 4-5 feet away. All the cards you see in this video are playable in a tournament.
