  • ok, mugabe does kill political oppositions. So what? he's anti-imperialistic and that's great character!

  • @Mrfreeworld1000

Who did he kill? What member of the political opposition did he kill? Be specific.

  • VIVA PRESIDENT MUGABE,VIVA AFRICA

  • @bamaceo59

Absolutely. There is a massive need for land reform that puts land in the hands of the people. Not only in Zimbabwe, but also South Africa, Namibia, Kenya, Botswana, Swaziland, and even Malawi, Tanzania.

When the land returns to the people, and resources are only sold to governments, and maybe African states start coinciding with traditional authorities, Africa will rise again.

  • I'm hardly supporting Bush, but when it comes down to "hypocrisy" shouldn't Mugabe, like, not be the one to point it out? It seems a little - ah - ironic.

  • Most of what is told about Robert Mugabe is absolute garbage. This story is going to change. The MDC is phoney. Zimbabwe was simply a regime change operation.

  • How is it then that Zimbabwe is in terrible condition? I understand the want to not be in such a hurry to criticize leaders, but it's pretty blatant here.

  • You know the effect of the credit freeze in the US? Well Zimbabwe has been on a credit freeze since 2002, through the Zimbabwe Democracy and Economic Recovery Act of 2001, specifically Section 4C.

(Google: zimbabwe democracy economic recovery act 2001 govtrack)

This act freezes the credit lines the Zimbabwean government had with international banks (9 are mentioned specifically in Section 3, Definitions).

  • This credit freeze forced the government to print money to compensate, which lead to world record hyperinflation.

It is this world record hyperinflation that is at the root of 90% of Zimbabwe's problems.

And it was caused by the Bush Administration, through the Zimbabwe Democracy and Economic Recovery Act of 2001.
