actually when you look on the back cover of brawl it saws it is powered by the havok engine i think. But im not exactly sure because the havok engine is a physics engine which half life 2 and counter strike source use a heavily modified version of its engine called the source engine.

Subspace borrowed many things from past Kirby titles like:

Co-op: debuted in Kirby Super Star, then on Amazing Mirror.

Boss fights: nearly based off of every Kirby game.

Enemies pop when defeated: also on every Kirby game.

I don't believe Subspace was the cancel of Kirby Adventure. Liam's points were wrong. But if you want, just be like him and don't believe us guys who've played Kirby and know all of this.

And, of course, Kirby and Smash Bros. were both designed by HAL, so OF COURSE the two are going to have engine similarities to each other. The points that were brought to attention in Liam's video were either sheer coincidence or unnecessarily small and nit-picky details.

Notable also is the fact that Kirby Wii wasn't in fact canceled, per se, just labeled "not in production". It's highly probable that it was simply postponed.

I think the details in Liam's vid were just...I don't know, some were pointless, e.g. enemies bouncing off walls. In Kirby, they don't bounce when they hit the ground or wall. In Brawl, the enemies bounce around like maniacal bouncy balls.

I hope Kirby Wii wasn't cancelled, I was looking forward to a Kirby 64-ish game.

Kirby Wii had gameplay similar to Kirby Super Star, not the SSE. The SSE's gamplay was also taken from Kirby Super Star (main gameplay, map screen, every Brawl boss represents a KSS boss, etc. Tabuu = Marx, Ridley = Dynablade) so they really just used basic Kirby gameplay.

if no one notice Masahiro Sakurai the maker of brawl is also the maker of kirby. it would explain why sse is similar toward kirby game. even in ssbm there were things base on the kirby the all star song is base on kirby aswell.

1 more thing. when u play sse with someone and they get lost and if u press a botton or get lost they come 2 u. that also happen in kirby super star
