  • This game had some of the best music from the 8-bit generation. Eight Eyes would be up there too, in my opinion.

  • You left out one of the better songs, the waltz that plays when you enter your password or enter a time door

  • Also this rpg was the first rpg that mixed turned-base and action based elements into it's gameplay.

  • The music for this game is awesome, but it sounds a lilbit too fast.

If it was a lilbit slower it would be perfect :D

  • I apologize if I get names wrong, but it's been years since I played this game. 0:00 Underwater village 0:26 Winter 1:04 Chapter 5 1:41 Ambush 2:25 Chapter 1 3:25 Battle 4:07 Sabaron's Castle? 4:48 Shop 5:20 The Past 6:13 End Credits? Thumbs up if this helped you locate a favorite song.
  • @Worenx Very much so, thank you for that. =)

  • 3:27 Man i LOVE THIS FREAKING MUSIC

3:41 BADAZZ! What happan to music now days there not the same anymore.

  • so-how-does-one-pronounce-Scheherazade ?

  • @HelloFade2 Sha-hair-iz-ah-d.

  • 3:27 is cool.

  • Magic of Scheherezade has always been an awesome NES game, and a challenging one too.

  • What Type do you use at the opening title: "FROM BLEEPY TO BEATS THE MUSIC OF VIDEO GAMES"?

Can you send it to me, or tell me where I can get it?

  • I think this game may be the reason why I'm obsessed with all things Arabian Nights today. BTW, a new translation by Malcolm Lyons just came out in paperback from Penguin. Go read it.

  • The music that begins at 1:04 is my all time favorite for any game.

  • I like this game's music a lot. The part at 0:28 is maybe the saddest piece of NES music ever, one of the most beautiful too.

I think the Arabian Nights setting in this game is an interesting change of pace from the standard quasi-Medieval Europe setting in nearly all NES/SNES RPGS .

  • 2:24 - 3:26, I can get lost in this music forever.

  • when i was young n played this , the enemy fight music always scared me and i end up hesitating to attack in the wrong direction and get attacked for missed hits lol but anyway the music is lovely and the game was hard for me cause i was in elementary school when i played this, my god , it brings back memories of the goodold 8 bit days with the best arabian music ever!

  • this music does not dissapoint! even final fantasy composer noburo uemastu will approve this as king of rpg music! its very trancing, mystic, hypnotizing, luring, when u go to sleep, the music never escapes your head, i love every sounds in this game, sooooo arabian type, this game put aladdins music to shame! i wish i can use this song as a ringtone! man, i wanna use it as a lullabys for adult! helps relax and smooth tensions in your head!

  • I love this game.

  • 1:43 reminds me of Super Mario Bros. 2.

  • Played every rpg of NES, this IMO is the king of 8 bit music. Mystical, enchanting, and enlightening. I agree with Garth below.. 5:21 is catchiest toon, just flows perfectly and hypnotizes you.

  • My favorite begins at 0:27

  • I once did a remix of the winter world Samalkand's music. Anyone who'd like to hear it, message me, and I can e-mail it to you.

  • this game takes me back to good times...

  • This game music is beautiful. It really take you into a new world. I could never forget what I felt when playing this game from beginning to end..

  • I was expecting crap, but this was actually pretty good 8-bit music. Catchy stuff.

  • I was expecting crap, but this was actually pretty good 8-bit music. Catchy stuff.

  • I used to play this game all the time when I was a little kid. I miss my NES!

  • oooh, love the music at 5:21

  • Good music for an obscure game with a strange great title.

  • I love the music for this game. I can say, with total honesty, that the music for this game is beautiful.
