  • good shampoos are not suppose to lather, what makes a shampoo lather is called sulfate.Sulfates dry out the hair completely and strip the hair of the essential oils that it needs. The market has tricked people to believe that lather (bubbles) mean clean but all it does is dry out the hair/skin making you go and get more and more of the condioners and lotions (yes there are also sulfates in body washes and even toothpaste) =/ dont believe me? google it... its a devious tricky market out there lol

  • @jaszylaz527 yeah, i know that now. that's what i hate about lush. they say they're all natural and cruelty-free [which is awesome], but their main ingredient in practically everything is sls!

  • @brandimisa23 Really? I know their BIG shampoo is bad for your hair but are there any other specific ones that contain sulfate? I know their Sweetie Pie one for body and hair doesn't really lather.

  • @femmefatale1990 Sorry, I can't really answer that because this is the only one I've tried from their line. I've since moved on from Burt's Bees shampoos.

  • @brandimisa23 What asshole's so their shampoo's contain Sulfate?

  • i cant find this in the UK :(

  • hey, after your review I want to get this shampoo and the conditioner. I was wondering if its still available in CVS? Because your video is already one year old.

    Thank youu :))

  • @idamanaFuel yes, it is still available in CVS! and most drugstores for that matter. =]

  • @idamanaFuel walmart too i seen it today =)

  • because its all natural its not going to lather as much so dont worry about it not lathering as much as regular shampoos

  • Adorable ^__^

  • @Misssandyfishnets aw, thanks ^^;

  • i wish i had straight hair

  • I have the Sugar Beet and Grapefruit shampoo & conditioner, I LOVE Burt's Bees. They don't do animal testing, and I've actually recently found out a lot of drugstore brands do test on animals, so I'm refusing to buy anything that's animal tested.. Plus it's organic, which is really healthy for your hair. :D

  • @xoMrsCarly they never seem to have that one when i go. but i think i smelled it once...i didn't really like it =P

  • I think the shampoo smells like strawberry vodka! Amirite?

But I love this stuff because its cruelty-free!!

  • @0hlaurenyou strawberry vodka?? haha i wouldn't know. it still smells like apple juice to me =P

  • when u change ur shampoo....it's normal to have a fall out more than usual but that only last for 2-3 days and pretty much grow back quickly.... :D my hair also fall out even when i don change my shampoo...haha...no worries dear!

  • @NextSuperstar88 really? haha well ok then. thanks!

  • The Burts Bees Conditioner line is good but I would not recommend their shampoo to anyone with a history of dry skin. This had caused me to have breakouts and inflammations on my body.

  • you have me worried now lol ... i have kind of thin, fine, hair. and i currently use herbal esseces hydralicious featherweight shampoo and conditioner.. they do their job great! i just want something new and i thought why not go natural? i odn't want my hair falling out.. lol.. i'm afraid to waste money buying this.. is it really good? and does your hair feel healthy?

  • @kandysportsluvr haha i'm sorry to worry you! really, i don't think my hair falling out was such a big deal. i've bought my 3rd bottle of this now so i'm really liking it. i honestly can't say if my hair feels any healthier since i don't do much to it except blowdry. but definitely give it a try. my only advice is go for the volumizing instead of moisturizing [unless you need it] because the moisture can tend to weigh your hair down. hope that helps and let me know if you try it and like it! =]

  • @brandimisa23 Alrighty, lol. Andd yeah but they are a little pricey... the herbal essences was onty like 3 or 4 dollars a bottle and those are more. and lol will do. I'm planning on goign to walmart so I'll let you know once I use it tomorrow lol

  • @brandimisa23 I didn't buy the shampoo and conditioner... they were way too expensive. About $8 a bottle. And there wasn't very much product in one bottle, so I decided to get my regular shampoo and conditioner- Herbal Essences Hydralicious Featherweight. (It's muchhh cheaper, and it does work great for me so maybe one day I'll try the Burt's Bees Shampoo and Conditioner.. ) (:

  • would you wear the fairy outfit next time please

  • Okaaay. I used this for the first time last night and I had a ton of hair falling out, definitely more than usual. Yikes. It smells so good though.

  • It's a good thing if your shampoo doesn't lather as much actually. The best shampoo's from salons and etc, they don't lather a lot either. Typically it's a good sign.

  • The pomegranate has a seductively warm, spicy fragrance. Its unlike anything I've tried before.

  • hahah really?? spicy? i still think it smells like apple juice. =P

  • actually the reason it doesnt get soapy is because it is sulfate-free and sulfate in shampoos makes it soapy.

  • yeah, i knew it was missing something that makes it soapy and that thing is not good for you.

just couldn't think of it at the time.

  • Ive been wanting to try these shampoos! where did you buy them?
