He absolutely deserved the prize. His actions for reducing nuclear weapons and bettering international diplomacy. I don't know of anybody who did more for peace that year.
Jagland supports NATO being in Afghanistan, a war that Norway also participates in. Winning the Nobel prize is about contributing to a more peaceful world - not about being totally nonviolent and never thinking that the ends justify the means.

The Nobel Peace Prize has always been about politics, and there's really no way it couldn't be. This was simply a way for the international community to say to president Obama, we're with you, we sure hope you solve this shit, cause it's our ass, too. @xxaznjazonxx Well there is some proof of it such as explosions coming out of the sides of the buildings and in another video of 9/11 an explosion can be heard before the first plane even hits the building. There was also a video showing how Bush lied about how he first learned of the 9/11 attack. But you are right, until greater proof is revealed it should just be considered a theory.
