The Not-So-Sneaky German Shepherd

My shepherd used to do that too. When I was a kid we tried to keep him in the bottom 2 floors of a 3 story house. We had a baby gate in a doorway next to the stairs. He knew he was supposed to stay there, so even if the gate was down he would still just lay at the bottom of the stairs. sometimes though, he would sneak up in to my room while I was on my computer and just lay down behind my computer chairs. I wouldnt know he was there until I turned around... He was veerrry sneaky...

When I first got my GSD, she had horrible abandonment issues. She used to cry and flip out if I even went to the rest room! She is 7 now and is much better, she knows I will be back. It is so bad that if I go into the kitchen to fix dinner and she is in another part of the house, she searches for me going room to room until she finds me. My boys roll their eyes and say, "Sasha is freaking again looking for you." and they will tell her, "mom's in the kitchen sasha don't flip!"

GSD's are the best!!! When i get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, He will get up,walk me to the bathroom, walk me back to my room ten check on everyone (including me again) then go lay down. He is so protective! I love him so much!!!

my dog used to do tht...she use to sleep downstairs..early in the morning she use to get up and literally sneak all the way up...open the door and jump onto my bed...but whenver she does I shit myself and she runs all the way back down lol!

this reminds me of my dog Mika. We taught her how to stalk us to play chase and she'll crouch real low like that and stop moving when you look at her. So funny to do! I can't wait until we get out german shepherd!

Yeah, he's got the whole spy look. Ears back, the white part of the eye shows, he pretends to be distracted ie, sniffing around or peeing on stuff, but he moniters whatever it is you are doing constantly. From the looks of this video, he was on his way to get a drink at his local "water fountain".
