@3rlkoeni9 Hi, no problem. This video has been recorded with permission from TD and it originated here in Germany. It is absolutely ridiculous from YouTube to censor this video for German visitors. I will send you the high quality version by email.

I think it is a matter of taste whether one likes live drums or not. I personally like the electronic drumset parts very much. Anyway, thanks for your comment.
Why oh why does Edgar play over the top of released cd's and consider that is 'live'?? I'd appreciate it more if he ctually made an effort to replayed the original sequences with new sounds etc which is simple enough instead of just adding new layers to old material!
Great video and sound from that concert. Just had the Royce Hall concert (LA) last night, nowhere near the sight and sound of this concert, I'm afraid. :-( Thanks for posting this one. Wasn't able to get to the festival.
You are welcome. In 2009 there will be two concerts in Germany, one at the "FROM EARTH TO UNIVERSE" festival in Northeim (near Hanover) and in Berlin.
oh I know this one, it's an updated version of a Hyberborea track! And it sounds really great. I've been a follower of TD all my life and this one actually sounds very '70s.
See, they can still surprise me today! Didn't think much of the "Dante's inferno" concept but this clip had restored my faith in TD. Thanks for showing that clip.
That's right, Sphinx Lightning is from Hyperborea. Although Inferno has a few sequences resembling the classical TD sound, it's a completely different concept, which one may like or not. Thanks for your comment!

I have found the music increasingly less interesting since Underwater Sunlight but would go to see them live again in a heartbeat. The 220 Volt live Tour was tons of fun! Love the light show for this festival.

Nice lasershow, but the rest was boring. Listening one hour is one hour continuing story. I was glad there were enough types of good and excentric looking people there at Loreley. So I could make some pictures. It was a long friday and lovely saturday and sunday with real prog.

Yep, I've been to lots of TD concerts and it can look like they're not playing live. There's got to be some pre-programming but I think they're genuinely playing. I totally agree that Iris Camaa should go, her percussion efforts are irritating. I wonder if Edgar just has her there to keep some movement on stage. I'll be at the London, Forum concert in November. They say they're playing stuff not played live before with new technology. Any ideas what?

sometimes its hard to tell weather they are playing along with a CD from the past kind of like the pheadra anniversary concert, but I have to admit they are getting back to something like there best.
Dear rjb2008, I won't comment on which sequence pattern or sound scape is invented, arrangend and performed for a bunch of multiple instruments at once on a single keyboard or just re-called live, because this has been extensively discussed since I created the first TD website 10 years ago. But I have a plea: Go learn some basics about live performances with synthesizers / sequencers and if you the still think to hear CDs on the concerts, then please continue this discussion elsewhere. Thanks.
Very Cool!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you don't recognize the new sounds on those classic sequences, I suggest that you do not waste time listening to TD.

Yes, the lasershow was great. But I was rather baffled how many normal-looking people were at the concert. Just kidding :-)

Long time TD fan here.
Need to get rid of the percussionist.
Detracts from the music. Her bongos are annoying.
Bring back the 3 piece electronic band with only Edgar on the axe if he feels like it!
