I would suggest moving up to a 6k , as you get older the 4k and 3k sticks are going to brake like nothing and you will get to the point where you are gonna need / have to pass or shoot the puck as a goalie and the 6k is all round great ,.. If u have the money I suggest going right to the 11k goalie stick
im getting the 4k for christmas and i had the 3k before. i can say that the 3k is durable. i slam my stick a lot and i havnt had many problems. thanks for posting cuz now i really know what im getting.

nice goalie stick and wood sticks. composite sticks do break easy. what kind of pads and gloves do you have?
