this is a great mixture, and it is so inexpensive as you can get it:

ammonium nitrate, charcoal,sodium hydroxide.

35/70/5. grind it all together, WARNING the gas from tjis mixture smell's like ammoniak. so it's toxic!  sorry for my bad english:D

Try getting it from garden suppliers. It doesn't need to be 100% pure (obviously purer is better) but about 95+ is good.

jag har aldrig fattat mesh är det ju mer mesh ju finare är det eller är det tvärtom och så undrar jag vad som är best till flash powder jag hade tyskt mörkt aluminium men det hittar jag inte igen har bara haft 100 gram. ps.bra video

Mer mesh är finare, mindre µm är finare. German dark eller stearinbelagda flingor är bäst till flash.

I can recommend you a similair recipe, it's 60 parts KNO3, 10 S, 10 C, 20Al. the Al should be arround 200mesh, but I use 400 atomized and it's fine. I have a question about the clay - after you compress it, is it so hard that it holds the pressure of the fountain ? I never used.

I'll try that comp when I find some 200 mesh. Right now I only have 25µm (I think that's 800 mesh) syearin coated aluminum. The clay becomes very hard when bompressed and I highly recommend it.

Sulfur can be bought at garden shops were it's sold as a fungicide. Alumnium is sold as a pigment/dye in paint shops. They are also sold at online pyrosupliers.

could work, but there are better compositions for that. Make one in the same way with black powder (and a bit smaler nozzle) and you have your engine.
