The US thinks that beating Mexico, Nicaragua, Barbados,etc. helps them in the rankings so that's why they play friendlies with them every two weeks. Worst part, they believe it's no different than playing a team like Czech Rep. They obviously never face class like Rosicky or Koller up until the WC when it's too late
