Well I am pretty sure Morgoth is a place. In the movie they say "Balrog of Morgoth" so.. >_> But it's obvious there is more than one ancient flaming giant demon in Middle Earth.. :D

actually the balrog of morgoth is supposedly the last of the balrogs but theres used to armys of them and they were created by morgoth

Actually , this game hasn't a lot with the books / movies . It's some random maps a lot of times . Only in a few maps u do things like in the books/movies

Iirc, this game came out in time for the first movie, even though it was based on the books, not Jackson's films.

Well seeing as these people say this game was made in 2000 and based on Tolkiens books and not Jacksons films. IIRC they began filming in 99 and it took 18 months or so to film so i don't think LOTR FOTR would have been out by 2000 never mind LOTR TT. So i think it's understandable that Helms Deep bears no resemblance to the movie version of it. And i also have to credit them for the Balrog, Looks great.

The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age is really the only LOTR RPG that comes to mind... it's alright for the first playthrough, and playing as a Balrog is always fun, but it dries up quickly. As far as recent RPG's, nothing better than Mass Effect comes to mind; it's easily one of the best games made in years.

If you're looking for a really great RPG, this is the place to go to. I honestly don't think I've ever played a game with a better story than this. It's old (ie. 2000), so you have to get over the graphics, but if you see it in a shop, buy it. It's considered the greatest game ever created according to gaming polls. And me.
