@anglepegasi Sort of, but rather than a actual cinematic it is a stylized background with two people talking.

It shouldn't kinda lame, but the animations are very good and you feel more connected to the characters and, lets be honest here, GW1 cut scenes where mostly pretty crappy.

@haitoism It's a great look for any game such as this. It makes the world seem that much more amazing 'n' detailed. Not to mention how it ages so well over time as it will still look good years later. While 3D ages very poorly with cartoony not that far behind.

@ThatOneGuyTommy Guildwars 2 definately has tallented designers and the graphics are pretty good. But there are way better graphical options out there just look at modern warfare 3 even though i hate mw3.

They intentionally dont push it to high end because people would need 2000 dollar cimputers then. I guess you can play on an 700 dollar gaming medium pc, even if not full settings but it should work

Yeah... sorry but the graphics aren't all that. They are very good, indeed, I don't argue that point. But, they don't compare to the top-of-the-line games like Battlefield or Crysis 2. And it's better that way. WoW still looks really fantastic and that's got very low graphics. It's the style that is more important and GWII is bursting at the seams with it.

Okay i need someone to tell me if this game will constantly keep you in a world where you will always see other players around you e.g doing quests, killing monsters etc! As the first one you could only meet other players in cities and stuff which kinda ruined the whole experience for me, thanks to anyone that can answer this question for me. i've been looking for a decent mmo for sometime and they all bore me so far :/

@RobeatWorld The entire world will be persistent and seamless, with instanced dungeons and some missions, much like World of Warcraft,. I read somewhere that the world will be divided into gigantic zones that must be traversed through potrals connecting the zones, however there are some sources that contradict this, and I hope that the outside world truly is perfectly seamless. Also, buildings and houses will mostly be accessible to players, and water exploration will be possible too. :)
