I think you and I have just too different opinions to reach a consensus. You believe a fetus is a human life, and I believe that it is part of the woman's body. People seem to forget why abortion was legalized in the first place. Before Roe vs Wade, women were getting abortions illegally in backalleys. Did they care? No because they were in a desperate situation. A family friend of mine was pressured to get a backalley abortion and because of it, it damaged her health and she can't have kids. But if it was legal at that time and she went to a clinic, her health would have been fine and she could have had another child, another chance to give life.

And abortion is obviously much different than drug abuse and child molestation because many women feel that they have to get an abortion. I have relatives who had gotten abortions and I know that it was very difficult for them but they had to do it because of the tight situation they were in. Your making these women appear awful but they're not.

These Women are awful less than 1% of all Abortions each year are done due to (Rape, Incest, Life of the Mother) the rest could and should be given up for adoption. Alot of Women get Abortions because they claim having a Child would hurt their career. Murdering your own Child should never be a solution.

Perhaps these women who joke about it have no other way of dealing. Maybe they don't view it as being a baby. We all have different opinions on what constitutes personhood. I respect your views, but men or extended family members can't carry out someone else's pregnancy. If it were possible to transplant a fetus, that would make sense-- but it cannot be done. Such is biology. As long as the embryo remains in the woman, it remains her choice. It's just how biology works.

Well I am pretty open minded when it comes to sex but I would imagine alot of that has to do with my being a man.

I have two points on this:

1. Most unwanted pregnancies are due to a lack of use of protection.

2. Even if you use protection it is possible to still become pregnant so anyone who has sex should be aware of this fact and willing to take responsibility for their actions if things dont work out as planned.

Problem is that people dont want to be accountable for their actions
