He's had some Oscar-worthy roles in his career, but he's also done alot of garbage. Haven't seen this movie, but I avoid "Oscar Bid" movies as a rule. I'd rather watch movies that are made to please their audience than movies that are made to please the Academy.

@HostileHST I think it works like this; They get a quarter to half a cent per like or view depending on the number of followers they have. But if Favorited enough times it gets on the YT page and then others will see it and they can get more views and likes.

The Descendants is overrated, but Clooney is still awesome in it. It's not a showy performance so that's why some might not consider it to be Oscar worthy. Same goes for Pitt in Moneyball, a far better film that deserves the best picture nomination.

George Clooney's a cool, calm, & collected type of actor, is what best describes his movie traits in my opinion, but generally I have to agree w/ you Angie & Chad in that he doesn't usually do enough to garner Oscar Nomination worthiness!? 1 movie of his that kind of slipped under the radar that I caught on HBO early on last year, where I finally felt he portrayed a possible Oscar Nominated worthy performance but ultimately was not (I believe?) is "The American" where he plays an Int'l. Hitman!
