  • I'm so happy he's actually making thanksgiving

  • Rob said they shot a lot of stuff for wwss, hope he releases that someday or am actual film!!

  • machete was made into a real movie

and so was hobo with a shotgun

so mr.wright, i plead u to make the movie 'DON'T'

also thanksgiving and werewolf women of the ss

  • READ MY LAST COMMENT BEFORE THIS ONE!!!

inute and a half. Apparently, the footage that was cut was actually more toward the brain-dead and overly talky style that Zombie usually does. It does contain more nudity, though, so I guess that counts for something.

  • My least favorite trailer out of all of them IS “Werewolf Women of the S.S.,” primarily because it, to quote one critic, “tries a bit too hard,” but if what I've heard about Rob Zombie's filmmaking career is true, it may just turn out to be his masterpiece. Interestingly enough, while Roth and Wright only shot what ended up on screen, Zombie shot enough footage to work into a half-hour long HBO special without commercials. As you can probably guess, it was not fun for him to edit it down to a m

  • Sex ghost! Sex ghost???

  • the beginning music is from night of the living dead

  • ramonewinchester, I've seen all the fake trailers and every single one of them, including “Werewolf Women of the SS,” is perversely entertaining, though my favorite is definitely “Don't.”

  • "the shocking true story" haha

  • Zombie shouldn't be there along with Wright and Roth, really...

  • @TakeItFilms13 lol good joke

  • edgar wright

    eli roth

    rob zombie

    robert rodriguez

    quentin tarantino

THAT'S A DREAM TEAM BIG TIME

  • I want to see Thanksgiving bad LOL

  • lol i really wish they would make these into actual movies.. in may not kill in mainstream box office but it will definitely attract the underground following

  • @headlesskiller

When Eli Roth was speaking in this clip, there was no Thanksgiving slasher movie; "Thankskilling" wasn't around yet.

  • Rob Zombie should stop taking too much drugs...

  • @NeoJD

he doesn't do drugs. never has...

  • Sorry to break it to you Eli... go see Thankskilling

  • @headlesskiller

"ThanksKilling" was released in 2009. Eli Roth was speaking in 2007, when "Grindhouse" came out in 2007.

  • Comment removed

  • @GWC1975 Yea, but HIS movie isn't out yet. So that wouldn't matter.

  • hobo with a shotgun is filming

  • @in5secs i aggree wit u death proof wuz a bomb movie fukin loved it

  • Edgar Wright looks better with long hair -- but hell it dont matter. dude's a god anyway

  • So does anyone know if that Trailer Trash movie is ever getting made?

  • machete is about to be made

  • I heard that Eli roth will really shoot 'Thanksgiving'.

  • @trfreitaslivre Thanksgiving and Machete are filming supposedly... I have Machete in my Netflix queue and Thanksgiving is on a website I hear about upcoming horror movies... upcominghorrormovies..com lmao, so yea... who knows, maybe someday all of these will be made.

  • i cannot believe this was such a flop the whole grindhouse thing, it was supposed to be huge and it just kinder was not, says alot about how dumb movie goers r these days, i love both movies they have such a sense of humour tarantino and rod, i liked death proof tho more i think.

  • Very true. Many people don't seem to have any concept of film history or even much taste these days. But, hey, we enjoyed it, and it will most likely become a cult classic.

  • yeah u r right, its sad tho i wish people would have more of an open mind. i mean im not saying it i a classic, but i do think its valid i just find it baffling how grindhouse was not properly released, but then things like the hottie and the nottie are, its mad i dont know what to make of it. but as you say, at least we know the differance eh :)

  • @emacker07 I agree 100% just listen to crap music we have now adays. A good horror film is hard to come by. We need the 80s now more than ever.

  • yea death proof is really suspenseful

  • Death Proof was awesome. I can't believe people didn't liked it.

  • i know, i didnt think many people 'got' it you know, that it was a take on the whole 70/80's big car chases n shoot outs, with a bit of comedy n cheesiness, people just didn't understand, which is a shame i suppose. in the same way a lot of people did not 'get' drag me to hell, they thought it was serious lol.i cant wait for inglorious bastards, it looks funny n crazy n a bit sick in places :D

  • @ollymcguirk releasing it on Easter didn't help. The times we live in are shitty enuff. I'm a huge Horror/Gore hound, but despise the Torture Porn label. I really hope the fake trailers are made into movies for Grindhouse 2. Roth, Rodriguez ,Zombie and Co. can do no wrong.

  • @ollymcguirk

It (sadly) reflects the change in peoples' mentalities and attitudes overr the years. This was a BIIIG thing back in the 1970's, when EVERYTHING under the sun seemed to be getting exploited.

Nowadays, you can't really DO THAT, because some minority or other will yack up and cry, "That violates our rights!!" We PRO-TEST!!"

    Well, DUH! IT"S EX-PLOI-TA-TION, motha-fuckurs!!!! lol!

    (Did I just say that?! ; -D)

  • @yukadoo

Just to follow that up ... those films were only meant to be F-U-N, by the way ...

  • @ollymcguirk I agree, I think it's a shame GRINDHOUSE bombed, I think it should've done much better than it did. However I liked PLANET TERROR much more. DEATH PROOF was just a little too slow and talky for my tastes.

  • @petercharleskrug Death Proof is slow and talky like all Tarantino films.

  • @ollymcguirk i agree i absolutely loved the grindhouse franchise , i saw both in the cinema and bought both on dvd, i hop they make another

  • @ollymcguirk i duno wot it was like in american but in england they didnt even explain wot the grindhouse was meant to be like. they should of shown both movies one after the other but they split them up which completely fukd up the concept and made each film just look like lame films. no one got y they were the way they were

  • i think its spelled hannukah srry if im wrong just puttin that out there

  • Eli's wrong. there's no Hanuka slasher flicks.

  • That's next, then.

  • 8 Nights of Horror! Be Kosher or Be Killed! (enter zombie with knife sharp menorah)

  • i'm gonna be really mad if they don't make a grindhouse 2

  • @cbgbs93 well, if it helps, there's machete coming out this year.

  • @cbgbs93

The first one was a failure at the box office so I doubt.

  • @cbgbs93 They're making one of the of fake trailers into a real movie.

  • @HumanRights4Everyone

    they have already

    MACHETE

  • @HumanRights4Everyone Machete and Hobo With A Shotgun has been done.

  • @cbgbs93

Machete and Hobo with a Shotgun :)

  • @cbgbs93 Well they released Machete and Hobo With a Shotgun. Although the Grindhouse brand might not have taken off, its legacy remains.

  • The trailers are great. Zombie did not rip off Ilsa because as far as I know there were no werewolves in Ilsa, and if you did enough research on the Nazi grindhouse genre, they ALL rip off Ilsa in one way or another because they all have a near naked woman who tortures men sexually. So get over it. All these directors were influences by the 70's grindhouse cinema, why shouldn't they be able to repay those great directors of the day with these brilliant trailers?

  • You said it. Grindhouse is a tribute to what Tarantino and Rodriguez used to enjoy, well Rodriguez knew nothing about a Grindhouse as far as what I ve heard but Tarantino is bringing back something he thinks of as classic.

  • OMFGZ i srsly hope that someday they make full versions of these movies

  • love the dawn of the dead music at the beginning!!!!!

  • they don't talk about machete? Fuck this video

  • Actually I heard Machete wasn't fake.

  • In a begining it was fake, but they are planning to do the movie now

  • holy hell I think my heart stopped

  • check my grindhouse trailer: Sluts of Death 2

  • awesome dont is the ether

    werewolf ... great

    machete .. la neta!!!!!

thanksgiving ouch! that hurts i love grindhouse

  • "Don't" reminds me of Suspiria.

  • don't is actually inspired by suspiria

  • I heard Edgar Wright say it was inspired by Don't Open The Window.

  • Yeah I heard that too.

  • Funny, you used the Night of The Living Dead intro Song, what it´s it name?

  • Too bad these trailers haven't seen the light of day beacuse of the fuckin shit DVD releases, so much effort wasted!!!!

  • The 6-disk collectors edition has the theatre experiance with the fake trailers as well. its on amazon.

  • look it may not be a good film but the director was in some country where these sick psychopaths really exist and he went to czech republic krumlov and made the movie there cause they would slaughter him so it's a good warning to watch out for these sick fucks

  • how could you buy into this?

  • I agree, mate. People who repost these are just stupid...

  • Fuck! The Two that I would love to see is Thanksgiving and Werewolf Women of the SS.

I don't really like Don't but I loved Shawn of The Dead.

  • 2:22

Was there a horror movie related to President's Day

Picture it: Zombified U.S. Presidensts come to life and attack Washinton D.C.

  • Sweet, bring back Reagan. That would scare the fuck out of me!

  • Alot of these fake trailers are becoming true; it'll be really badass too can't wait to see the turn out.

  • i disagree hostel is better than two thousand maniacs and no where near as close as hostel hostel is murder for profit while two thousand maniacs is the worst slasher film for bad acting and bad directing

  • Hostel sucks serious testis..

  • There's a difference between making a film holding these conventions and just making a terrible film, and thats what hostel was. a terrible film.

Eli Roth's point wasn't to make a shit film, it was make a film emulating these b-movie conventions...Don't call me an asshole.

  • your really cool, you wrote the F word.

  • is Sylar from Heros! xD

  • Thanks Giving is an actual movie being made too

  • Fine. Shaun was A FUCKING ROMANTIC COMEDY with ZOMBIES, there. The point I was trying to make is that even when all those directors did some movie that could just as easily be considered a ripoff, they managged to make them good and original in sorts. Well fuck if we went to such extents then Herschell Gordon Lewis isn't an original either. There's literary work about torture in captivity that has been done waaaay before.

  • Machete is being made in to an actual movie!

  • Machete is being made into a real movie. Which is awsome.

  • FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really wanted to see Don't!

  • Ummm...for claiming to be such a huge horror aficionado, Eli Roth obviously has never heard of Home Sweet Home: a slasher film starring that Body by Jake guy that takes place on Thanksgiving. It has been done.

  • I need to see these trailers.

  • They have GOT to make these movies!

  • They call him "Machete"

  • I can make a better film than Rob Zombie in my sleep.

  • Rob Zombie continues to bomb. Who is bankrolling these movie attempts of his and why do they think it is worth it? His trailer is a straight rip of Ilsa.

  • GEE, ya THINK!? That's the whole point of these trailers, idiot.

  • So Zombie had a chance to create something original like Don't...or Thanksgiving...or the Machete one, but instead he did a straight ripoff of an existing film. My point is that he is the least talented filmmaker of the trailer group - and YOU'RE the idiot for trying to defend HIS lack of creativity.

  • It's called homage...and very few people are familiar with Ilsa. Thanksgiving is the most original of the bunch, the rest (even Machete) are just as much ripoffs of various other genres. The entire point of Grindhouse (trailers included) was homage. Whether you think it is creative or not isn't really relevant.

  • Honestly, shut up. You're just hating on it because it's big name dirrectors. If it where nobodies or some indie guys you'd be all over it. IT'S A JOKE and a nod to a period that inspired them. That's it. SERIOUS BUSINESS

  • First, and most importantly, Shawn WAS A FUCKING PARODY. Parodies (and I don't care if I misspelled it) are ment to be like other movies, but with the slight twist of ridiculous comedy.

  • the correct term is that its a ZomCom

  • I thought it was a zombedy! Zombie Comedy!

  • I like to call it a Rom-Zom-Com, Romantic Zombie Comedy

  • i don't give a damn for your opinion.

i sure as hell didn't ask for it.

  • Werewolf Women of the S.S. is another reflection of this trend - not on the level of Roth's or Wright's work - and proof that Zombie and his wife should go back to the shock-rock and leave filmmaking to the filmmakers.

Vorphalack - You are so deluded with what you are trying to convince me of - something like "The Magnificient Seven" is a homage to "Seven Samurai". Be serious.

  • Actually he's right. The Magnificent Seven essentially is an American remake of the Seven Samurai. Werewolf Women of the S.S. is a dead on reflection of the women in prison/ Nazi films like Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS. I've actually seen a lot of the crappy grindhouse movies from the 60s and Grindhouse was dead on. But I do agree that homage is overdone and that Tarentino has a tendency to use rip ideas off from other films. Kill Bill often comes to mind; That film verges on plagerism.

  • hell yeah rigelnigel hell yeah

  • For more flicks like this one go to _moviereviewdaily.com_

  • we got seperate releases in the uk...misses the point slightly dont you think?

  • i already have it on dvd. bought it in south america biotch!

  • lucky son of bitch!!

    hope its good

  • machete is not going to dvd! and it will be on theaters! I read an article about it.

  • DON'T!

  • oulp fiction wasnt bad?

  • i love thanksgivin and don't

  • if those movies were real

  • They are considering it acually

  • At least with Machete, which is probably made into a direct-to-dvd.

  • You guys should check out "Hobo With A Shotgun".

  • "Don't" and "Thanksgiving" were my favorites by far.

  • come on! werrewolf women is pretty awesome too! and how about the knife going up the pussy in thanksgiving? hi-larious!

  • That was the sickest part! XD

  • i know man! i loved it!

  • Machete was my favorite. it was worth the money just to c machete haha.

  • theres a lot of well known actors in this movie, as well as directors, like nick cage, rob zombie, this guy^, rob zombies wife, eli roth, and of course tarentino and rodriegez

  • gimme a break! no more Chains! just Grow Up!

  • Great interviews! The movie is a MUST SEE!..seen it twice. Nothing else like it.

  • don't

    just don't

  • i liked machete best of all

  • i went to see this last night, it was awesome, Werewolf Women of the SS was my favorite as I thought it would be, Don't was funny as hell too

  • lol @ Werewolf Women of the SS!

  • I wanted to hear comments about a certain actor's sole in that trailer.

  • i thought QT was gonna do a trailer called cowgirls of sweden

  • Awesome, a behind the scenes look...damn!!!, where you get this??? I love it!!! Great vid!!! I'm spreading the word!!!! YEAH!!!! GRINDHOUSE!!!!

  • to the person that uploaded this video,

    How did U get it??

Ive been looking around for a downloadale version

  • ROB AND SHERI

    rock my world

  • Wasn't Tarantino supposed to make a fake trailer himself? I know Rodriguez did "Machete", but what happened to the one QT was originally going to film?

  • I think to get the R rating, he pulled it out, cuz, the rumor is, it was pretty much porn. I bet it'll be on the DVD though

  • oh yeah, Roth forgot about 'blood freak' too. about a horrible turkey-monster. 1972

  • WOOHOOO!!! Score 2 for the B-MovieGreetings,

    Bill.indhouse knowledge

  • i meant "score 2 for grindhouse knowledge". You and joplinfantasy get props for that.

  • yeah, interesting. i love seeing people quibble over which part of grindhouse was better. I tend to think that neither movie would have the same impact or meaning without the other.

  • how long is this movie

  • around 3 hrs

  • i thought Death Proof was ok. a different version of slasher films. 3 stars for the effort. i thought Planet Terror was badass. 5 stars! good fake trailers. 4 stars. overall: 4 1/2 stars

  • jonesy i agree pulp ficton was 1 of the best movies ever and both the grind house movies were great...o and the best line of death proof was "shes in a movie" "is it a porno movie" lmao

  • Eli Roth obviously never saw HOME SWEET HOME, a Thanksgiving slasher from the 80s.

  • Damn, someone got some B-Movie/grindhouse knowledge here.

  • How the heck can you say that Pulp Fiction was a bad movie?? That was one of the best movies ever!! And the 2 movies in Grindhouse were both amazing movies!

  • I agree that Death Proof did drag a bit,but that was the point and it paid off towards the end.We got to know the girls at the beginning and they weren't ready for Mike, but the girls in the 2nd half wasn't going to take it and take Mike on.QT is going to make a longer version and take it to Cannes.

  • The first half of "Death Proof" was annoying and dull... Tarantino's dialogue only works with the right characters, and only Kurt Russel's character managed to pull it off. The 2nd half of it is really fun. Planet Terror is 100% awesome the whole way through.

  • I thought "Death Proof" was as boring as a piece of shit. It was as bad as "Pulp Fiction", which was also made by Tarantino.

  • I'm down with this guy's opinion; I didn't like "Pulp Fiction" at all. I mean, Tarantino has talent and all, but I just couldn't get the whole point of that movie.

  • Perhaps you shouldn't watch movies if you find them a bit tricky.

  • Perhaps...

  • There is a reason why Death proof was made the way it was. Grindhouse movies were written the same way. I don't see why Pulp Fiction was bad, as it had a great script.

  • yo they said it was unsencord but the 2 sex scene where cencor

  • They were cut for jokes. Have you ever seen those old movies?

  • ya i knew it was for a joke but they should of just not mention it haha but no haven't seen the old grindhouse film im new to it and after the new movie im hook and im kidna of expecting the old ones to be better

  • Actually, I'll be honest, these ones are better. About one of the great few grindhouse films I love is Peter Jackson's Dead Alive. A.K.A. Braindead. A terrible one, though I watch it once in a while, is Cannibal Holocaust. Another good one is Super Fly.

  • sweet i hope they have it a blockbuster

  • i like the climax to braindead, the rest is just awful. I thought cannibal holocaust was good. didn't see super fly.

PS it's amusing how Eli Roth seems to think that Friday the 13th is a holiday

  • Exactly why I loved
