  • 'As opposed to Jafar'

  • I managed to read and listen at the same time, but now my head hurts.

  • Yeah o.k lets help overpopulated countries become even more overpopulated, that should give you a warm and fuzzy feeling when your drifting off to sleep.

  • hahaha 'tender fifteen years'. oh gosh. i favourite this purely because of how geniously funny that was :)

  • Mention of Jaffar. YES Aladdin is the BEST Disney movie!

  • I like paneer too! And also, I love that you referenced Aladdin :)

  • I'm not sure whether to listen to you or read the words. I like what you have to say so I'll listen to your words.

  • It's so good what you've been doing!!! Tom from Australia is not just another YouTube nerd =) He's a YouTube nerd that helps save the world.. Me and my friends are buying a goat, 2 hens and a rooster for World Vision this Christmas instead of giving each other gifts! =D

  • for the first 20 seconds of this video, I thought you were wearing a backpack :P

  • World Vision is a religious and intolerant organisation. Boycott it and sponsor secular organisations that don't proselytise.

  • WOW!! you talk incredibly fast! Faster than the speed of light...Well, not really, BUT really fast. You make my ears seem like an ancient device LOL >.<

  • We miss you Tom!

  • @nightmarefairy96

He's not Dead , as you can see his latest activity.

  • TOM.

unless you are dead (which if you are please do not inform me as i could not mentally take it), there is no excuse for putting us through the horror that has been the last 3 freznedless months.

    I'm not angry... I'm just disappointed -_-

    MAKE VIDEOS <3 love you

  • WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU GONE TOM! I NEED MORE FREZNED IN MY LIFE!

  • i had to watch the video twice. once with sound and once without

  • Dear India,

    Give Tom back.

    Regards,

    Youtube Community.

  • the video is 2:39 and yet it took me about 5 minutes to get through this. and i also love how you can take a video of you just talking and being 100% serious, making no jokes, to a hilarious and fun video with the addition of text... MORE VIDEOS PLEASE

  • As much as I'm happy to see subtitles in Frezned's videos again, does anyone remember when he used do them in a borderline subliminal fast flash? Ahhh, memories.

  • why won't you make more videos :(

  • Very clever sir, getting double the views by having us watch once for the words, and once for your voice. Which, I suppose are both words.

  • SO HARD TO READ AND LISTEN X(

  • The way you said heart was adorable.

    It is now my ringtone.

  • R.I.P Frezned :/

  • I wish every video had distracting subtitles.

  • Where are you? Upload a new video pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease :)

  • Where are you frezned? ;(

  • Where have you gone? D:

  • you're so cute frezned can i have you in my bed

  • WTH Tom?? WHERE ARE YOU??!!

  • Hey Tom. The cats won

  • "in contrast to, say, Jafar"

Unrelated to that rather fantastic snippet (which I forgot to add before), I have to say that the more I (try to) understand your intentions the more I am hugely appreciative of you as a human being. I love what you are doing with your videos and.. general life I suppose. Not that I know anything except what I have gleaned from the videos but I've been watching for quite a few years now and think you're just brilliant so.. thanks I suppose! Hope you're well and stuff

  • OK OK I initially got frightened off by the fast beginning and text but I just watched it all and ignored the text and it made sense! OK. OK.

Then I watched.. OK your trolling text, man.

    What are you doing?

    I love you.

"and all that" makes the cliche OK

flowers are a good bee present

My aching mind is having a discussion right now with my aching belly (from the laffs) and they've come to the conclusion that I have to stay up to date with your videos from now on.

    Much love and luck!

  • OK I thought I couldn't understand what you were saying because I hadn't been on your channel for a while (nothing personal I promise) - as much like Shakespeare your style takes some getting used to - but thankfully I'm not the only one who has no clue what's going on (aside from the India thing which I assume was cleared up in an earlier video) and I'm glad as this video was literally breaking my mind. Maybe not literally.. but my head really hurts so it's at least harmed I'm sure.

  • What?

  • I'm not a native english speaker and i didn't have any problems reading while listening to you. sucks for does who didn't. lol

  • Hi, I’m Tom from Australia how ya doin’ hey how are ya you good? hi I’m Tom from Australia hi I’m Tom from Austrailia Tom from Australia here! how are ya how ya doin’ I’m Tom from Australia what’s happening? I’m Tom from Australia Hey! Tom from Australia
  • jesus my brain hurts, i wasn't expecting to have to use it ever again

  • I was able to follow along until "I hope you like cheese!" and then my understanding unravelled in a gooey mess and my brain exploded.

  • my family sponsored 2 kids from world vision a few years ago (:

  • are there going to be more world vision videos?

  • p.s. "a tender fifteen years" :,)

  • what IS he saying right at the start?

"so we've been 'corazagrating' looking at all these cool things..."??

  • My right brain hemisphere is feeling pain..from attempting to read and listen at the same time.

  • have my babies.

  • Don't eat paneer, it's not tasty.

  • It's not a weigh in.

  • I like the subtitles.

  • i wish more programs took the same methodical approach as World Vision.

  • I am watching OASIS a film done in Australia about lost lives....you know of the program?

  • I see your prerogative - put up the 'ol subtitles then we have to watch it AGAIN (and again and again) to understand the whole concept. Excellent! I kid, I like that you put more effort into your videos. rah! x

  • I spent 1/2 listening and the other 1/2 trying to frantically read sometimes even pausing until I just gave up.

  • I wish World Vision would send me to meet the child that I sponsor :(

  • Paneer is fantastic!

  • THE SUBTITLES ARE GENIUS. :D

  • you do realize you are my ideal guy right? - random girl from internet. sigh.

  • Did anyone get the rude pun (0:55)? I didn't... :D

  • LOVIN THE JAFAR REFERENCE

  • I managed to both read and listen through that. Shazam! Multitasking!

  • Hi guys! Help me cure my incurable boredom by checking out my sketches and rants on my channel! Comment/Subscribe/Like whatever :D

  • hahah.. analysng xD

  • The audio/visual multitasking might've not been so hard on us viewers if the text had been...white? The black is ridiculous. I'm sorry I couldn't finish the video- I was interested in hearing what you had to say, but the pressure to keep up was too much for me.

  • that required too much effort

  • I love you

  • reading and listening to you at the same time confused me soo much... o.o oh.. my.. gosh.. sdkjfsdjgdkgshfoasdhglsadgj brain deflation!

  • that was so confusing :/

  • HA! i only had to pause it once! i am the queen of audio-visual multitasking!

  • I have got used to frezned talking fast but the fast subtitles just confuse me, had to keep pausing it :')

  • i watched this video four times:

    1. attempted to read and listen at the same time. fail.

    2. just listened to his amazingly fast words

    3. read the subtitles to help understand the words but instead got distracted by the jokes

    4. watched it again...just cos it's a good video

    love you frezned :)

  • @jamescordenisababe ME TOO!!!

  • @CHALLISONNN hahah :)

  • @K4lamazu i am a native english speaker, AND I CAN NOT DO THAT EITHER! ;( i guess that means i'm illiterate. Sorry mum.

  • @logicsucksx3 Must... resist ...urge... to... say.. something...xenophobic...can't .... Were you drunk at the time?! I'm a douche bag. (seriously, though, Aussies such as Frezned and the Chasers and whoever made the Australian sex party {who doesn't love those} pwn)

  • Powerful Asians for change. Hahaha.

  • Ha, clever Frezned, making me watch the video more than once so that I could both listen and read without being distracted.

  • frezned, why would you choose world vision over another, better, non religious children's organization that in no way endorses child sponsorship?

despite you saying that it's more like community sponsorship, it still means that when resources need to be allocated more urgently in other areas, those dollars going towards that community/child can't be moved around accordingly. please, i know you are a good person for caring at all, but do some research into other organizations.

  • @734P4R7Y You're missing the point. Loooong term commitment is needed to create permanent change .... hence NOT moving the money around is also sometimes important. Also you seem to assume he has no knowledge of other world aid organisations. On what basis do you make that judgement? Lastly you assume that non religious organisations are better than ones that may have a religious affiliation. Why? Surely they should be judged by what they do. I give to World Vision and I am an atheist.

  • @indentedheads actually, i'm not missing the point at all. say you give to one community enough to satisfy their human rights and more, while meanwhile a nearby community is starving and dying of dehydration? i'm not always utilitarian, but when it comes to human lives, saving and educating the most people is better than saving and educating some quite well and leaving others to die. my work is with a humanitarian NGO, and i spend hours thinking about this every day.

  • @734P4R7Y I can see your heart is in the right place. It's that whole teach a man to fish as opposed to giving him a fish argument though. I suppose my point is one approach doesn't necessarily negate the other. Don't we need to do both? Isn't the World Vision approach a vital part of the overall plan? I also support the Red Cross who take immediate emergency action. Let's embrace any action that benefits humanity rather than tear one down while praising another.

  • @indentedheads oh absolutely. anyone who does anything to help someone else should be praised. there are, based on journal articles and my own experience, better and worse ways of going about it however. world vision just doesn't seem to be the best way, especially when efficiency is the name of the game.

  • @indentedheads also, world vision is an evangelical organization. purely on the basis of neutrality, it limits the reach and scope of their work. there are already so many barriers keeping organizations out of certain countries that desperately need our help. take any country whose politics are based on their religion -- do you think that government would allow an evangelical group to be anywhere near their people, even if they are otherwise completely unbiased? doubt it.

  • @734P4R7Y I get it now. We can't have Christians helping Hindus, even if they aren't trying to convert them to their religion. The next thing you know the Jews might be helping out the Muslims, Buddhists helping out Atheists. Wine lovers shouting beer drinkers a Corona. Aaaaargh, world peace! Then before you know it all that money spent on warfare and weapons will be directed towards humanitarian causes. No more poverty and starvation! No!! A world filled with happiness, peace? Stamp it out now!

  • @indentedheads huh, what a crazy thing to say. it's like i made the world this way according to you. religions, almost by definition, are exclusionary of other religions. in fact, by definition, sure they are. i challenge you to change that.

  • @73 No, according to me you did not make the world this way, and unless you are some kind of sneaky god I don't think you have that sort of power. As I said earlier, I'm an atheist. I don't believe in any religion, just mankind's innate goodness. I have lived in Christian communities in Australia and Muslim communities in Indonesia. All wonderful people. As to your challenge, I don't want to change their beliefs. Let them make up their own minds. I just support their attempts to help each other.

  • /watch?v=LeESTyrUAjc

  • SUBTITLES ARE DISTRACTING ME :S

  • hurtin my damn head.

  • I have watched it! I enjoyed it! Reading it, as well as listening to it! You keep me on my toes, Tom!

  • At the end of this video, I realised you weren't wearing a waistcoat.

  • i so do love cheese

  • Our sponsor child is now fifteen and world vision is about to leave her village but we have seen an amazing difference since the beginning!

  • I think I got half and half there. Although I think I did get the message that you were trying to get across. Might have to watch it again to make sure :P

  • World Vision, not like Jafar

  • So what I took away from this video: I need to try paneer. And I think I will.

  • are the captions supposed to distract us so what you're saying is absorbed better by our subconscious? ;)

  • I'm too strung out on benedryl to comprehend anything in this video.

  • i started crying while trying to read these captions, and not being able to.

  • I'M NOT A NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKER, I CAN'T HEAR AND READ AT THE SAME TIME

  • @K4lamazu i am a native english speaker and i cant hear and read at the same time

  • @K4lamazu You're not ment too :p one has to watch it several times

  • @K4lamazu I AM a native English speaker....and I still am struggling haha

  • @K4lamazu i am a native engish speaker and it was still damned difficult

  • @K4lamazu

I AM a native english speaker, and can't hear and read at the same time...

  • @K4lamazu Hes not English though..

  • I think I tuned out of listening to all the important stuff and spent the whole time trying to decipher the subtitles...

  • hahaha I loved the cheesy line!! <3

  • OMG you are challenging us...

  • @riichelleyvette but well worth it!

  • Those captions were so distracting. >.< lol

  • Nice Aladdin reference you put in there

  • Did not hear a word you said. Too busy reading the captions.

  • I do like cheese, thank you.

  • I watched once to listen and then rewatched to read. It was still difficult, but only partly because I was giggling so much.

And the "cheesy" line? I loved it. I melted a little. Lines like that are how I always managed to get at least a high B on essay tests.

  • This was interesting. Good job frezzie

  • this video was an challenging exercise in multitasking

  • I LOVE PANEER

  • My brain is sad because I can't simultaneously listen and read.

  • @EmileyxSmiley My brain is sad too :( sad brains.

  • i had to keep pausing it to read the words :P

  • This needed to have ALL CAPS "Don't Unplug Me" playing in the background.

  • 10 to the hundredth power is called "a google"

  • Lotsandlotsandlots of pausing

  • SHG is an initialism, not an acronym.

  • @sk8rdman DFTBA

  • Gah! Information overload!!!

  • sounds like star trek's prime directive.

  • p.s. cheese is amazing

  • ALADIN REFERENCE! You just became even more awesome

  • OMG ALADIN REFERENCE. LOVE.

  • ow. too much information too fast.

  • Reading those captions meant I couldn't look at your face, Tom. Disappointment.

  • all my years of watching you have taught me well. i was able to follow both at the same time, although I did pause it at points!

  • im too add for this

  • hahahahah jafar

  • Well done getting an important point across without causing our brains to melt from boredom!!

  • Yeah, I can't figure out what that was about.

  • you'll probably get double the views.... one time people mute and read the subs, the other to watch your face...

  • i like cheese
