I love both The Smiths and Anberlin, but I find this cover to be very lackluster. It just doesn't have any of the charm and emotion of the original. He sounds so bored! I also dislike like the synth and the echo. It works in most of Anberlin's songs, but not here. It would have been nice if they at least diverted a little bit from their usual style when covering this. That being said, it's not horrible, just not special.
