  • @musicguy1987 there was no line about marbles in a jar?

  • lovely descriptions

  • oh that's four star..awst

  • I love the smell of air conditioning.

  • This line: they swam in circles around our refrigerator because I'd never learned to kill.

    <3

  • USually moms have jars of marbles laying around, and children are always fascinated by the marbles because they want to play with them but could never touch

  • I love his style. He tends to build and build and build, and then soften into this slow, sensitive poetry with that little grin of his. <3 Love him.

  • genius description of childhood. never seen or heard anything that explains someone's childhood as well as this.

  • Your title's man, they're way to long.

  • me neither, anis!

  • Favorite line:

"me and mom went fishing in the park

    I caught two catfish

and waited for them to die."

    Man...it gets me every time.

  • Love it

It almost makes me want to cry, and I don't know why.

  • mind fuck

  • Ummm Its nice and all but does this shit make sense to anyof you? or is he just explaining his life

  • @TheNextlevelPhysique it only matters if it makes sense to you. This seems to simply be a recollection of the way a child feels and thinks. A memory, a reminder of the innocence and imagination we lose as we get older. The way that a child interprets the world and some small piece of it as something gigantic and magical. I think it's meant to evoke similar memories in ourselves. To make us think about the simple things that shaped us and to remember the magic we used to think was in everything.

  • his voice is amazing!

  • What's he doing now?

  • love him. ahhh hes like the master of...i dont even kno how to describe it, but that whole beautiful adjetive/description, symbolism ahhh. words are god.

  • marbles in jars is a disciplin technique

  • @ladysaphia I feel the EXACT same way.

  • amazing!

  • he is what you call real he is what you call true

  • He's amazing.

    His performances are beautiful.

  • this is really good. I took me 2 listens to finaly get it lol.

  • can u explain it to me?????????

  • He's looking at his life from the view of a child. It's like he's reliving childhood memories and equating them to different senses. I don't understand the line about his mom having marbles in jars though.

  • @musicguy1987 "Losing your marbles" means crazy, so marbles in jars means a really good mom?

  • @jonDDA Makes sense though...

  • So solid. :-)

  • just amazing as always.. i wish i could buy all his albums, and be in America to go see the junkyard Ghost Revival

  • Yeah, Anis Rules his delivery is so great to listen to.
