  • "Use Me" is a song composed and originally recorded by Bill Withers, and was included on his 1972 album Still Bill. It is his second-biggest hit in the United States, released in September 1972, and later reaching No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart."

  • From what year is this tune?

  • @diuga1 This is from Sir Ike's 1975 album "Use Me," and then 3 years later, Stax Records (which was bought by Fantasy) re-released this album as "Hotbed." Same tracks, except "Good Love 6-9969" (originally from "Black Moses") was substituted with unreleased instrumental "Hobosac and Me." In my opinion, Issac's live version of "Use Me" from "Live at Sahara Tahoe" is way better than this one

  • @solesirching73 Thanks for the reply, friend.

  • @solesirching73 hear hear- I have it as audio but didn't know the concert if was from so thanks for that too. The spoken intro in Isaac's delicious drawl leading into that guitar riff is my favourite bit, otherwise it's hard to beat that clavichord on the original Bill Withers track

  • ok if you insist, i'll keep on using u lol

  • good cover,with a little twist!

  • love this song <3

  • Definitley not the best, but it works. A different tempo and form, but it works.
