We just rescued a rake that looks exactly the same $0 ;) All we know is that is an old John Deere, It is complete except for one bolt and the rubber on one wheel and it still works! Can't wait to use it. Not sure how to deal with the rust though. Wire brush and repaint or just protect it with recycled oil and use?
@krazyjk022 John Deere made two rakes back in the day. One was a four bar model 594 and the other was a three bar rake model 553. The four bar was the most popular
