I think they cut their streaming... maybe their streaming dubs. Any channel that plays their content will probably also censor certain content as well.
From the Dance in the Vampire Bund controversy and the content on the DVD/Blu-ray itself I'd conclude that they attempt to avoid censorship/cutting. At a minimum they have the reputation of doing that.
Again, as far as I know they haven't censored any DVD releases in a number of years, maybe even as far back as six years. Dance in the Vampire Bund's ecchi had them considering it and there was a community outcry and they changed their minds. I believe some fans of that show have confirmed that the Funimation release wasn't censored/cut.
Evangelion for both! Toonami piqued my interest but I went nuts when a friend showed me the first couple episodes of Evangelion so I started downloading like crazy.
I started collecting anime on DVD when I felt the urge to start buying Evangelion on DVD.
hey do you know if its possible to buy the box a series goes in like how they made for full metal panic?

@CHScameraman
You mean the artbox on its own? I'm not really sure. I'd try looking on E-Bay but chances are you won't be able to get it on your own.

Could you please show Shuffle + backs in your next inside the box please? :)

Pretty much Amazon, sometimes The Right Stuf, and on rare occasions E-Bay or other random places I stumble upon.

Question, are Funimation titles cut or uncut?
It just sorta feels that something is missing in their dubs. :S
