I am a former member of Rhema Word and I must admit that Pastor Powell is a great man and motivator. But the more research i have done the more convince i am that Jesus never existed in the way that bible says.
If u were 2 do real research. u would discover that their were gods thousands of years older than Christianity that was born of a virgin, baptized, the 2nd person of the trinity, died for the sins of mankind, and resurrected. The bible is nothing but an old motif. Study the Hindu God Chishna, (sounds a lot like Christ dont it) Horus of Egypt for example study their attributes and u will be amazed at the similarities. Their is nothing in the bible that is new. So y take it that serious.
The bible has stories of myths in it. Take for example Gen 11; the tower of babel. God was so afraid and concerned that the tower will reach heaven so he confuses the builders language. But we have rockets and space ships and satellites and skyscrapers that are built so much higher than any tower that some ancient people could have ever built. Doesn't make sense. Do a google search on the epic of gilgamesh; remind u that it is 2000 years older than the flood story account.
@dnail God was only afraid because He knew they would "Worship other gods" Not because It was a certain height. God can careless If they built Instruments to go into space as long as their not doind it to worship other gods. And please Don't belive by what reasearches and the so called "media" tells you. Their are no eye witness accounts what so ever of the resurrection of Jesus. And their is hardly any proof outside of the bible that Jesus ever existed and the historical accounts we do have is flimsy at best and real shallow and were done by historian after the death and resurrection.
This man of God is an awsome motivator. He speaks which such clarity and saphistication that all those who listen to him searches for a more intimate relationship with the almighty God.
