There were many such works and the leaders within the Catholic Church decided to use some and not use some others, some because they did not communicate the "message" the church wished to express. In all cases they are simply man's attempt to explain his beliefs in a divine universal presence.

This is such a moving and beautiful song. It really brings out the Christmas Spirit as it talks about Jesus' Birth through Mary's Eyes. Now if only find the Music I might get a few women in my Church's Choir so sing this Next Year.

One of my really good friends died 12/22/10 in a plane crash in Colorado Springs and the night before her and her husband left she showed me this song because it was her favorite Christmas song. RIP Nicole and Martin. Miss you guys.

one of the girls ensembles performed this at our school christmas concert it was absoulutly beautiful. it brought tears to my eyes. My choir did this 2 years ago and it was so pretty! I love it!

I absolutely love this song. We have performed this as part of our Christmas Cantata on several times. The lyrics, the melody, and the significance of this song makes it one of the most haunting songs to sing and I have to work hard to choke back tears of passion when we sing this. Beautiful video...thank you ez.

We sang this song in my Madrigals choir and it was my friend's favorite song,
then a few days after we got the music, he passed away. We were all extremely close. Now everytime I sing this song, I do it for him. I love this song. <3

This is a beautifuly done video. My sister, Karen A'Laine Collins, and the choir, did this music in 1996. My mom made a video. The sound is not very good and I could only understand a few words. Karen died 2 1/2 years ago, so I want to see and hear everything she sang. I am going to put lyrics in her video. Please tell me the software you used. This was so lovely. God Bless You.
