  • way i see it usa is using this as a test/tactics/ and what happens ....just my views

  • buuuhhhhhhhh zelaya is a fuckin looser jajajaajaj we won't be chavez slaves.. zelaya es un perdedor y traisionero a la patria ..

  • If it weren't for the HAF, Honduras would've become a socialist slave to Chavez! Insulting how this report only focused on the Zelaya supporters, what the HELL ever happened to the "coup" supporters? I haven't heard of them the entire time this was going on! As Hondurans, we try to keep our country free and democratic and we get labeled as coupmongers, yet no-one gives a FUCK about our view, only Zelaya's view, only his. Please read into the events up to this and you will understand why.....

  • i wish we would have a coup here, see here in America,if u got the most money, u can run everything and have your ideas pushed across the board first, and its never noticed because we have lobbyists who should not be allowed in Washington.

  • View catrachingon.

  • What's up? I can't view this video. It keeps saying 'an error occurred, please try again later' ?

  • When... in the history of the WORLD has a military coup been a good thing? NEVER!!! Just because they have the uniforms and the guns and the money doesn't mean they have a right to rule you!

  • Just like our Marcos in the Philippines [ sons of bitches.,. hijo de putas oligarchia! Revolucion!

  • run dumies run!! is so unfaire the people at the street and zelaya is resting jajaja

please people stay at home and dont do things for a person who is using you!

  • im all for more power and freedom to honduran pueblo but the fact is they are in a shit storm right now & zelaya supporters are trying to cause a crisis, panic and chaos so the international community demand he be re-instated to stop the madness

i pray the new elections will happen soon and normalcy restored soon. thats a small price to pay to get rid of Zelaya and any other communist dictator

  • Real News mus go on and deeper with the information because is one of the most credibe and only way to get information in my country... i also have first hand info to share with you people, I just came from honduras to europe and I can tell you the things there are even worse by the moment.

But if the reason and democracy have any power in huma society, we'll see the dictatorship fall down to pieces, but Honduras need a lot of help!!

  • more liberal news, yawn,......

the military had a LEGAL right to throw Zelaya out...he disgraced the constitution and wanted to become a dictator!

    good for the military.

most of the anti-coop people are supported by CHAVEZ who would love to see Zelaya back in power b/c they are the same kind of president.

most hondurans support the consititution & not Zelaya.

they dont want zelaya back !!

they want their country back and their life back to normal.

the coup will be over soon

  • if you are not there, please don't say that you know!!

I would not be offensive, but if you say that a dictatorship is the right way to make changes in this world, that means you are hundred years behind in history...

look I am from honduras and I was there before, during and after the coup! and when I read this kind of positions then I understand why the world is so fucked up!!

if you want to have clear information send me your e-mail and i can give it to you, if you want real info.

  • please

    dictatorship????

the only one who wants to stay in power is zelaya, well defined concepts and then talk

  • Comment removed

  • yes!! it is a Dictatorship and if you are not here you don't know what is going on with the police and army, they are defending the position of the same rich people who ruined this country since ever!!!

    and Micheletti is an idiot!!!

so we want a few things to change in honduras, we need it

in order to live in peace

  • you know what people want in honduras?

I bet you don't, and it was totally against the same constitution that bastards like the "GOLPISTAS" defend even when they don't understand a shit about laws... but well they will fall the same way every Fascist in this planet!!

there's many things to learn before you decide to speak about rights and laws

if you read spanish I can share a document to explain why it is a coup and why what they did is ilegal.

  • si?

  • people run countries..not pieces of paper..people write constitutions, constitutions do not write themselves...what is going on in Honduras is a grotesque military coup...they even are reported to have used biological/chemical weapons...they arbitrarily shoot people in the streets too, anyone who voices opposition..it is totally unacceptable..and the worse is that these reactionary forces claim to be for "freedom" and "democracy"...lol..

  • Thank you Real News. Shame on the Obama administration, the dirty US again. Long live the people of Honduras.

  • So much for our "Hope for Change"

    What happened to Obama?

Just another politician? Is there any hope for Washington?

  • Why didn't the real news report on what happened in Philly and the G20?

  • o and btw when zelaya appeared on the brazilian embassy he said death or new constitution isnt he provoking people to cause a riot? wow what a president. Over 85% of the population rich and poor and this is a fact is against Mel. Tisk Tisk wake up dumb ass, stop miss informing people and misleading to take sides. The curfues are to protect the inoccent people and to avoid blood shed. Not cause anithing else My name is Alex noriega, i live in tegucigalpa, i live every day u dont. rember Karma

  • Protecting innocent people sounds sweet but instead have a look at what happened to the photographer Delmer Membreño, after the dictatorship closed down his newspaper. Try Argentine newspaper "Pagina12" if you can't find the info anywhere else.

  • there cannot be a new constitution because our magna carta dosnt allow it, and it specifically says who ever tries to change it will be trwon out of power. the goverment of micheletti was very clear on nov 29 there is ellections and he will gladly step out of power:) so go fuck yourself fucking junkie. You should be arrested.

  • Whoah, hell of a great Constitution you got there, adelab...

I think the fact that it cannot be legally changed is exactly the point. That's undemocratic. A Constitution like that does not take into account the people of Honduras as deciders over their own future. Instead, it ties them down, rendering them unable to change the law at their will...

  • wow look at this 2 reporters they both look like junkies, mother fuckers because of you and a whole lot of communists irresponsible "journalists" and "reporters" if we can call you that, its why this honduran bussiness has been goin on for so long. you say this people go out to the streets to march in peace? comon lol if peace means burning out popeys? burger king? o let me guess they were hungry so they burned it out? lol get ur facts straight.

  • obama should have had some balls and frozen the defacto goverments assets and as well as admonish them for thier violation of human rights

  • Look at them trowing rocks at the army-wow! I was born in Honduras and left in 1983 and AMAZED that they are so confident the soldiers won't shoot them.......I think several of them would be dead if this was happening here in the USA!

  • Thank you Real News for doing this valuable and important job with integrity. It is hard to get news about Honduras that did not come from a single AP article in Canada without your thoughtful journalism.

  • Well made reportage.

  • God bless Honduras!!!

  • oh and P.S. Like Mussolini said: Nothing against the state, nothing outside the state

Micheletti says: NO-ONE is above the law..

    JUST ME!!

  • You guys appear to be BrainWashed like they're doing to school kids in New Jersey. IF you are younger than 30 yrs, my Advice to you is to be VERY, VERY WORRIED about USA Debt and interest being paid on it.....Better watch IOUSA 30 minute version here on Youtube. I'm 50 years old so in 20 yrs I'm Expecting a war here in the USA between the YOUNG and ELDERLY because Medicare and Social Security will be eating up all Tax dollars even if there is 80% TAX...USA government has ZERO DOLLARS SAVED!

  • Madmanatse appears to be BrainWashed like they're doing to people who watch too much Faux News/Faux Street Journal. IF you are younger than 15 yrs mentally, my Advice to you is to be VERY VERY WORRIED about people like him and USA being a nation where people can't distinguish between Mussolini and the government of Bush as well as Micheletti and US investing on Warefare instead than the own people's needs. Better watch out for these sheep that don't give a SHIT ABOUT HUMAN LIVES

  • NO MAN is above the Law here in the USA and that goes for Honduras too! What would happen to the USA President if he DISOBEYED a Supreme Court ORDER telling him to give the necessary papers, tapes, videos, emails, etc., to CONGRESS? JAIL! Zelaya did this so he faces Jail-time just for DISOBEYING a Court Order SUSPENDING his 'encuesta'! Why don't you guys try DISOBEYING a COURT ORDER to see what would happen?

  • NO MAN is above the LAW, but what happens here in honduras is beyond that, the Honduran DEFACTO President has VIOLATED(DISOBEYED is a joke) UNIVERSAL HUMAN RIGHTS, by killing many people extrajudicially, the federation of inter human rights has documented over 5000 extrajudicial arrests, thousands have been wounded, the small percentage of media against the coup is constantly shut down and militarized, journalists killed, the military have broke inside homes killing people

  • they have TERRORIZED, not "harassed" the Brazilian embassy throwing TOXIC gases and atempted against the health of 70 people including the President, these gases have been reported in other parts of the city, these are gases used for WARFARE not against CIVILIANS, the military invades neighbourhoods with people demonstrating PEACEFULLY and come every 2 h to shoot indiscrimminately at them as well as taking people wounded outside hospitals and who the fuck knows where they are taken

  • there are tapes, videos, emails, threatening people to death, the military shooting at peaceful protesters, of the military terrorizing the embassy, there are hundreds of videos and emials and tapes with evidence about Micheletti's TERRORISM and FASCISM to the HONDURAN POPULATION! Micheletti did this so he faces Jail-time like the Nüremberg trials against nazi SS officials for GENOCIDE and violating HUMAN RIGHTS and the CONSTITUTION; he SUSPENDED the constitution for fuck's sake

  • Why don't you guys try violating human rights and suspend the PERSONAL GUARANTEES, i.e.- the whole CONSTITUTION in periods where curfue is imposed and laws constantly VIOLATED, the Constitution PISSED ON any time the defacto government likes to see what would happen?

  • 00:47 ...Damn she just punches a handcuffed woman in the face for no reason.

  • yeah...hondurian blood =]

  • Zelaya has to FACE the Honduran SUPREME COURT with all those charges against him......HE IS GUILTY - I've seen the videos and Read the Court Order he DISOBEYED- which is why they won't hand him over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Madmanatsea: If you unquestioningly believe the Micheletti gang's lies pushed by the corporate mainstream press then you are a moronic fool. If you know better but are just backing the corrupt oligarchy's subversion of citizen-rule & authentic participatory democracy then you are a witting dupe & tool of the elites. Either way, SHAME on YOU. The coup resistance is about MUCH more than reinstating the legal President. The arrogant militancy of the coup-plotters has encouraged mass-organization.

  • Does Brazil and Mel think they gain anything if Honduras elections are postponed?

  • Madmanatsea: You are being deliberately dumb, showing how out-of-touch you are about this resistance, in response to the legacy of US corporate & military intimidation. The oppressed people are SICK of the corruption of oligarchic shitheels who have corrupted the Courts, Congress, Church and business elites serving foreign capital & US (western) neoliberal exploitation. You are ignorant of the broad coalition demanding Congress recognize either they rule by consent of the governed or not at all.

  • Why doesn't Brazil hand this guy over to the Honduran Government?

  • madmanatsea: DuH, beCUZ Brazil is a modern, progressive nation now leading S. American regional integration & development, they are firmly on the side of citizen-rule & democratic empowerment. They don't HAVE to kow-tow to the crude intimidation of the by-now desperate coup-gangsters since justice & power is held re: people united shall never be defeated. What you laughingly refer to as the 'Honduran government' have shown the world they are self-absorbed thugs who think they are above the law.

  • Can you believe that conservatives support the coup? They have no use for democracy what so ever. Conservatives remind me of the Hell's Angels. They have no concept of human rights. They only care about what's right for them.

  • Though you're correct, Democrats and Obama is also supporting it and allowed it to happen. Both conservatives and liberals here are human rights abusers and are pure imperialists.

  • Most of these people are THUGS just like the ones protesting the G20 here!

  • Aren't they using the same kind of soundwave equipment against protestors at the G20 in PA?

Why don't you form a group of retards and try to SHUTDOWN a US city so you to see how long it will take the USA to respond?

  • madmanatsea: Your 'logic' is crude, boorish & absurd. US's use of RoboCop force is not a sign of legitimacy, but shows how corrupt & illegitimate the system is: instead of listening to & negotiating the concerns of its citizens, the US wages war on them & criminalizes dissent. US Democracy is a broken facade now controlled by corporate & financial interests. The brave & resourceful people of Honduras are a lesson & inspiration to us -- That's why the media & politicians misrepresent the coup.

  • brazil is being imperialistic

  • How do you work that one out ?

  • Can't show Cause they were so few that was ambarresing LOL.

Come check for your self instead.

    Get real pleeeeeaaase

  • ¿yeah?, i say BULLSHIT edward james, the fascists coup leaders will fall, sooner or later. Hopefully you are included there.

  • The revolution has begun. There will be a date soon when we ALL stop paying taxes and debt. We will bring them to their knees. Then the executions start. PERFECTO!

  • Looks a lot like Pittsburg.

  • it's freaking unbelievable that police/military is so well branwashed all over the world... they're protecting bunch of fascist criminals and fighting their own people instead...

is there any common sense on this planet anymore?!?

  • No, the purpose of the state is to protect private property. Police, Military and Intelligence Services are inherently RIGHT-WING.

  • In your country a so called "right wing" "neocon" would be the one asking that something be done about this.

The so called "Liberal" will shit on the element of change for the people of Honduras ever step of the way and disguise the issue as "healthcare" or "racism" inside your own domestic politics

  • You make no sense, viewing your profile its obvious you hold fascist rightwing views. You Serbs are an odd bunch.

  • fascist rightwing views eh? For what country Saudi Arabia?

  • Where fucked.

  • Those fascists of Micheletti should be captured and be taken to an international penal court.

  • The military dictatorship in Argentina held public favor by making a huge deal out of the World Cup. As far as that U.S.-Honduras game goes, I wouldn't be surprised if they decide that "the show must go on"... and I'm sure the U.S. is on their side and will accept it, the only ones likely to play hardball are FIFA... it would be funny if they brought down the coup government

  • The corporate news media, even the "Liberal" outlets remain silent on what's happening NEXT DOOR in Honduras while obsessing over every little anti-Ahmadinejad protest in Iran.

  • The 60's (Redux)

This is what happens when you counterfeit the world's reserve money supply into oblivion.

  • no one talks about this on the news

  • that's because world news doesn't matter to the media.

  • Power to the people! Zelaya's return to the government is a must!

  • The gloves are really coming off now. This could become the first true revolution of the new millenium.

  • my bets are still on iran

  • iran's green "revolution" was a farce. this is the real deal.

  • really ? is that why they are still fighting ?

  • show me.

  • search Qods iran : all for 3 days ago .

  • I didn't see no fights. Just people shouting "Mousavi". This is BS, IMO, 10000 rich people of Teheran (a city of 8 million - not even all of Iran), are "rebelling", against an election that was legitimately won by the actual president (no proof of fraud whatsoever). So their go's the green revolution, down the drain.

  • wheres Bob Marley when u need him?

  • It looks like their beatings will continue until our morality improves.

  • There is nothing more similar to fascism than a freightened priviledged elite

  • any politician??, only the president can be realected, and is not for the people to decide that??

  • wait, so the law said that you can take an ellect president from their home in underwear and flying him out of the country and leave him in a foreign country, THATS THE LAW!! i though you may have some rights to defend yourselve before you actually find guilty

  • Incorrect. It is true that Honduran law prohibits an extension to presidential term limits, the President's proposal was a referendum on a larger constitutional reform, and allowing the re-election of presidents would be thus be part of that. And since when is it legal procedure to have the military forcefully remove the president from power and exile him from the country? Of course, Honduras is dominated by a number of powerful and wealthy people opposed to such reforms.

  • I've read the law people (and yes I read it in spanish) and the law clearly states that anyone even proposing such an alteration to the law is to be arrested and is to be barred from serving any public office for 10 years. The military was ordered by the supreme court of Honduras to arrest the president. This is the law. Americans should stop acting like we have a right to meddle in the affairs of other countries.

America's talk of democracy is pretty hollow considering our action in the world

  • Comment removed

  • What is up with you dude? I make a comment on someone else's channel "second" period that's it and out of the clear blue you send me a message that you are banning me from your channel and encourage others to do the same??? Would you please explain to me what your idea of free speech is ? If you don't like it ,ignore it . And you thought I could not send you a message back ...LOL

  • get a life, live Zelaya

  • vinayakaya, blow me

  • The president wanted to ask the people if they wanted to hold an election to alter their constitution, and the army held a coup because of it. He wanted to give more power to the people!

  • According to the (bogus, US mandated) constitution, the President may be removed from power, but only through the courts.

After listening to what Zelaya actually said (not the horseshit purported in the media), the case for even a legal challenge seems weak. There is certainly no constitutional case to made for a coup d'état.

But I think that you already knew this, didn't you?

  • I think we'll become a police state here in the US...hopefully we'll rise up.

  • This is depressing and I agree that America's actions in this crisis have been disgusting.

  • Thanks for your efforts RN.

  • as an American I'm disgusted by my country's weak reaction to the curfew. We shouldn't support the oligarchy.

  • I fwe keep going the way we are in DC this is what america will turn into..We have already had the coup, just they never told anyone..People are waking up to the truth in masses..

  • LOL. Exactly.

  • wow kinda hard to look at living shacks being manhandled by armed uniformed men
