  • Hi LiLTMac123,

Regarding aerosoft airbus x v2, do you have any further information on this? Release date or similar information? Thank you!

  • At all, I've the Wilco Airbus and i considered to ?change to the aerosoft Airbus x.

Shall I do that or not

  • I have both the Wilco and AirbusX and I prefer the Wilco even though the Airbus X looks a lot better because I dont have TrackIR so it is difficult to use a 3D cockpit for everything. There's no 2D panels with the AirbusX.

  • Very informative and useful. I'll stay w/ Wilco although the graphics are not as good and landing is a bit more challenging....

  • I vote for the Wilco. Realism is a huge factor for me. The new Airbus X will blow the Wilco out of the water.

  • thanks GOD the crackers make good work and we can test before spending money on this shit!!!!!

  • 100% Aerosoft

  • @MrLoveWhiteBoy who is better ??? wilco or aerosoft airbus fsx ???

  • how come it seems glitchy?? do the downloads mess with the frame rates??

  • i have wilco v2 evo its better than those two.

  • Pretty good video, however showcasing the whole thing at night doesn't give much to see, especially when displaying what the exterior model looks like! Just an observation :)

  • i prefer the airbus X

  • how i can on panel light in wilco ??? nice vid :)

  • @hgvwi shift+L

  • @LiLTMac123 ok thanks !!!

  • im not sure but some call outs i heard was from boeing?

  • The fabrication of the Wilco A320 is much older than the Aerosoft of course that will take Aerosoft winning because of the programs currently exist for modeling.

  • Lol cool video, but when you say you don't have to manually enter your flight plan. Once you have your departure and arrival programmed your done! Lol man, you forgot the enroute waypoints. Cool video man

  • I think Wilco is meant for near realistic approach flying (Not realistic enough though) and Aerosoft is more on cosmetic effect (I believe they going to improve it)

  • go for the airbus X, wilco is good but the airbus X is just overall better, i mean common, aerosoft vs wilco? please, aerosoft built the 747-400 (PMDG)

  • @captainsmartass123 no, PMDG built the PMDG 747-400....

  • @PuffMac Aerosoft owns PMDG smartass, look at the upper right hand corner of the latest PMDG 747-400 box art.....its on google.

  • @captainsmartass123 Lol idiot they dont, PMDG makes those planes and completely owns them, Aerosoft just sells their boxed product just like they do with many other addon makers. So basically Aerosoft is just publishing their products on CD. Aerosoft Airbus X and PMDG have completely different makers and just Aerosoft publishing PMDG planes does not mean that their Airbus X is even nearly as good, in terms of system simulation even Wilco is better.

  • @Pvjinflight Either way, aerosoft products are never a disappointment, i wasn't aware that PMDG wasn't owned by aerosoft, sorry for getting aggressive, i just figured aerosoft was more involved in the product because they were featured on the box, thats all.

  • @captainsmartass123 PMDG are not owned by Aerosoft: Aerosoft publishes some of PMDG's products, smart ass. PMDG make their own aircraft, ask them yourself.

  • @PuffMac yup, thanks the clearing that up dude, cheers.

  • You must use the Reverse Thrust after the Touchdown.

  • @witzigkey it was used.. fsrecorder didnt show it for some reason

  • @witzigkey Unless the pilots are "good corporate citizens", and want to minimize noise.

  • guys expect aerosoft airbus x v2 to come out soon! it'll feature stars and sids in the mcdu!

  • @LiLTMac123 V2 will outclass Wilco!

  • @LiLTMac123 do you have any release date info about Aerosoft Airbus X Vol.2? Many thanks!

  • @crazymorganable no i don't sorry, i saw the news on their website. they have pictures of the updated mcdu with sids and stars. it looked pretty cool. i would provide a link in the description but i saw it half a year ago.

  • I have the Airbus X and it's a very good looking bird. The major problem is its MCDU, that don't allow us to insert some information, like runways, sids, stars, ils is kinda broken and have to be inserted on VOR position. But overall, it is really good, the sounds, the light effects, the textures and VC is breath taking. As I sad the MCDU sometimes bothers a lot, like when you want to insert altitude or speed restriction into waypoints and it doesn't allow, so you have to do it manually.

  • the wilco is better because is more realistic ;)

  • how do you open the window at 4:21 ?

  • @xbox7888iscool left mouse click on that window knob, to close it right click.

  • @LiLTMac123 it doesn't work :(

  • @xbox7888iscool only on fsx :(

  • @LiLTMac123

I saw something in the video i must disagree with, the wilco aircraft has a perfectly operating automatic landing system. When an approach is executed correctly the plane will land properly inclusive of the flare which is induced at about 20ft. All the pilot has to is retard the power to idle at this point and the plane will land smoothely. Just last week my wilco a320 landed perfectly at KMCO at a rate of -250 fpm.

  • @Smurphilus i know that, i learned that after i made the video... i commented about it below

  • @LiLTMac123

Thanks for making this vid. I'm thinking about which one to buy!

  • wilco is the best in FMS and controles, it's realistick.

Airbus X's cockpit is very realistick as well as the exterior design, its GPWS is

    awesome.

I wish that wilco have the same animations and GPWS as Airbus X

  • @fawii very true! i would like to add the wilco is better for VFR and AirbusX is better for IFR. with wilcos stars and sids you can just fly the plane without atc guidance, with their guidance they're going to guide you away from your set up flight plan anyways.

  • @LiLTMac123 Yes, the FMS without runways and sids/stars in not consedred a FMS.

  • @fawii you can download the GPWS sounds to wilco airbus they sounds real

  • @kristianfogdal How? and from where?

I only know how to add new paints, but sounds like GPWS I think it's more complex. PLZ help. thx

  • @fawii okay i will pa you my frend ;-D

  • Nice video buddy. My own summary would be that the Aerosoft Airbus X is miles ahead for textures and graphics but the systems and flight dynamics (hand flying) are HOPELESS and I uninstalled it. Wilco is much older and has an older looking VC but the systems and flight dynamics (especially FBW) are MILES AHEAD. So Wilco Airbus wins for me.

  • Utter Utter SHITE. Incorrect VNAV, Incorrect Autothrust Incorrect ZFW/CG A Pile of UTTER UTTER SHITE, always has been. Ooooh but we have "Launched a new version with Weather Radar"..So F*cking what, !!!! MIght help if you get the flight dynamics right in the first place and besides your latest fix comes from Eric Marciano and his 3rd party hard work, which you couldn't have given a shit about until you realiszed it could make you some cash and fob it off to the public. FUCK YOU WILCOPUB !

  • Wilco airbus with the evolution upgrade is much realistic than Airbus X. But the airbus X texture is better than wilco. I heard that Aerosoft will release a Airbus X V2 ? Can't wait flightsimlab A320.

  • Also you will find liveries for Airbus X very very very hard. So in conclusion i think that Wilco is better than Airbus X.

  • I do not agree that wilco is slowing only to 150knts my one is slowing to 140 it depends how you will program the fmcg

secondly - i dont agree that you cant make soft landing with wilco type up lkanelov he is using wilco and he is perfect smoothest landings with wilco

but i really like the model of Airbus X the cockpit is amazing but thats all wilco's cockpit may not be the best but it has better overhead , engine master / fcmg is 100 times better and if you know hotwto usethe ap u r ok

  • A couple of items! Your wrong about the Wilco not being able to do an autoland, in fact it does it better then the Airbus X one you did in this video. See Video response for example. The second item is there is alternate night texture for the Wilco that improves the night lighting, but the Aerosoft's does still look better. I agree about the external model, that is why I replace mine with Project Airbus models. (You can't do that with Aerosoft's by the way, but I see no reason to anyway.

  • @tf51d It comes down to whether you want a lite system model or a complex one. Right now the Wilco is the most complex Airbus model in terms of systems available today, at least until the upcoming FSL A320 series is released.

  • @tf51d yea i just did some research on category("cat") autoland approaches. the wilco CAN autoland by itself with both ap's engaged. thanks for clearing that up. i read that if only 1 ap is used for landing, it becomes cat2 or something, if its cat2 then the ap have to be shut off when the radio altimeter shows 200 feet or so and pilots have to flare manually. i could still be wrong though but im learning.
