I used to hate the prissy collars they started putting on Krystle after a while. She looked better in either low cleavage or turtlenecks.

But the infantalizing sailor suit crap was awful. Someone must have thought it was "cute".

Once again, Sammy Jo actually steps up and continues to be an interesting, evolving character. If the show had gone on longer, she would have been one to watch. You can see Heather demonstrating her improving acting chops here too. Her MP Amanda is only a few years away at this point.

@dmsf70 I sort of wish that Linda Evans would have come on Melrose Place to play Amanda's mother Hillary. I loved Linda Gray, but it would have been awesome to see Linda Evans play a shrewd and touch businesswoman.

Ok, the divorce papers were a bit much, and unnecessary. There would have been other ways for Blake conceivably to end his marriage to Krystle if she'd become incapacitated after the surgery. That was just dumb writing. A cheap attempt to tie up all of the loose ends with Krystle in one neat little episode. Looking back on it, it's really her divorce request that seems out of character and stupid. The rest could have -almost- been believable.

Sable & Sammy Jo's gowns were the closest to the "Old Dynasty Glam" I've seen in ages.

@ferre77 that's because in the last 2 seasons they did something that they hadn't done in the previous 7, they recycled clothing. Look through all of the previous seasons and you might even find those exact outfits on other actresses. The jewelry was on loan, so accessories were still changing

It would have been awesome if Dominique would have came back and joined forces with Sable to battle Alexis.
