No ones claiming that this band has created a new genre, but none of their music is a rip off from anyone elses. Bands take inspiration from other bands; like the buzzcocks did with the sex pistols, the verve with oasis and so on... End of the day, if you don't like it mate, I'm sure your friend isn't forcin you to listen to it :)

Awesome band, but how can anyone compare them to Oasis, that just shows you know nothing about music. Anyways good band, but not for the big crowd.
