I feel dumber now than I did before i watched it. However it was worth it I was fucking rolling that is the funniest shit i have seen in a while.

Actually there were quite a few pistols used during the civil war including some European ones, but this is a little known fact since Colt and Remington dominated the scene. I use gear grease to make a smooth coat that covers the balls, avoiding chain fire and reucing barrel wear. It works good. I've got several pistols and enjoy shooting them.

@sbarry92 Well You don't REALLY need to put the Vaseline over the cylinders as long as you at least have wads inside between the ball and the powder. reason people put this on the front of the cylinder is to prevent sparks from getting to the powder in the other chambers that could result in a chain fire of all chambers at once like a bomb.

loading and fire black power firearms are very easy i own two muskets and one revolver kinda like the one your useing in this video there realy isnt much to it. and yes that is the best way to see if its loaded look down the barrel with your finger near the trigger . i suggest better safety when handling these they arent toys they can kill you...thats what they were made for...

@fullmetal108 for someone who claims they have black powder revolvers you seem to not know much. Only way to load one is to have the barrel pretty much facing you and having my finger near the trigger isn't going to make this gun go off...even if my finger was ON the trigger it won't go off because it's a single action,the hammer needs to be back and the cap must be on for anything at all to happen
