Your resonant head is extremely too loose on that bass drum.

You do know that a drum's tuning comes from the resonant head right? If you want a lifeless bass drum sound you should be loosening the batter.

Also you look like you go through crash cymbals like no body's business playing them that high.

Sad so many people get such bad habits.

@phildd0t Yeah, it is too loose, but it was a one off time when I hadn't realised it wasn't tuned properly after experimenting with the new Kickport. However, countless drummers record their kicks with their reso head tightened just past wrinkle, or without a reso head at all, so that idea is pretty baseless.

Also, all of the cymbals in this video, i've been playing for years, so don't be so quick to judge my 'bad habits' based solely on your own perceptions.

@LiarLiar155 just because they haven't broken yet doesn't mean they won't. You just need to lower all of them so you're not hitting them solely on the edge most of the time. Playing the cymbals flat isn't bad, but hitting them on the edges consistently will do damage.

@noisy2314.the kick sound is so amazing because of the think in the hole of his bass drum called the Kickport.if you can get a front head with a hole in it you can put a kickport in it.it makes your kick sond great.it's about 40.00

well for your drums being miced up poor sound try and even it out cause you good want to hear the drums more. Mostly snare and cymbals hard to hear anything else. you drum great so let us hear it.
