  • i though the previous Pope said that homesexuality is an intrinsic moral evil... Then there was the 'gay hunt' on catholic seminars, where anyone that was foudn to be gay was to be immediately expulsed from any seminar. I think that pretty much summed up how being catholic and being a homosexual were at odds. Sure you can be a Catholic and be struggling with homosexuality but not a homosexual Catholic. oh but nvm.. Catholics pick and choose what they believe within their religion too.

  • you squeaked!

  • nice work

  • I do have a question, so when U were growing up, did U ever think that you might be into girls? were U ever Confussed about anything? I kinda thought I was into girls but I dunno I'm more into Guys. But I came out when I was 19 so yeah its was very hard, but anywayz, U seem like a nice young guy, Hope 2 hear from U soon, Bye Cutie, lol

  • Great video!

  • I don't mean to offend you but, how and why do you consider yourself catholic?

  • Comment removed

  • I love you!!!!!!

  • yeah.... wow ummm, I have watched about a dozen of your videos and I honestly thought you were just as straight as me. I mean I realize that you can't really judge someones sexual orientation from their voice or appearance or vocabulary. But honestly nothing about you really could've swayed me to believe that you were until this video. Which, by the way, let's me realize just how "regular" (super quotation marks) as me another homosexual male can be.

  • HONEY I THOUGHT YOU WERE STR8

  • Cute and smart too!

  • This is excellent! You should have your own cable show...Like "comedy central" but for us homosexual "people!"

Keep up the great work...yours is a voice that could help a lot of people, especially young kid who are dealing with their sexuality.

  • lemons and heavy cream makes custard and alfredo sauce. The trick is to have the cream at about 180ºF and stir in the lemon juice with a whisk, adding a little at a time. For alfredo, you'd just add browned garlic, anchovy brine, and herbs. Look up custard on your own.

  • Ah, I almost wish I were a man now! XD This was hilarious and you are totally not the stereotypical gay....You "don't have a lisp" XD

  • I just found your show and don't let this get to your head but you are very talented!

    I will keep watching!

  • So, um I hope you don't mind if I call you ZAP. Well anyways, your video was so funny & inspiring, and you're so cute!

  • You are really cute!

  • You're funny. Kudos. But why the aversion to tummy bumping? hehe

  • cause Grace and Will do it in like every other episode

  • I love it how few minutes with you can make me smile to myself for the rest of the day. I seldom laugh out loud when I see your vids. they just make me 'gay' all day :-). wow..high-quality, longlasting, thoroughly stimulating humour...hm...are all your qualities this developed^?

    greetings from germany :-)

  • nice!

    :D

  • I'm sure you've heard this before, but you're brilliant. No one could have said it better. Okay, well, maybe someone could have but they've not yet tried so you still are brilliant number one.

  • yes!

  • I love this stuff - way to go!!

  • I realize that, to some other people, me commenting on your videos would somehow turn me "homosexual". But, disregarding that, I'm still straight.

Just wanted to say, you're a pretty cool motherfucker, and I think you changed my perspective on gays in general. (not saying I had a problem with them before)

  • : )

    I think I love you.

  • thamewt is cute!

  • BTW cada beijo is portuguese for "each kiss"

(kahdah bayZHo) that zh is pronounced like the s in fusion. cheers.

  • haha great video, loved the subtle arrested development reference

  • This was cleverly done, and I like the fact that you are well versed.

  • Same here, fist year of University.

But damn it, why have I never met a gay guy as clever and articulate as you there?!

  • wow you know what u said about being in a highschool were nobody is gay? STORY OF MY LIFE.

    ps ur cute!

  • This is such a good idea... Keep up the good work!

  • lol "this tastes like homosexuality and catholicism!"

haha im totally subscribing to this channel :)

    keep up the good work

  • You are so funny!

  • Although knowing I was gay since college, I on the other hand, didn't come out until age 31. Why, I chose to wait so long...I'm not sure, but I did have a very healthy coming out experience.

So I just wanted to thank you for this forum that allows people who are stuggling with such things to address them healthily and honestly. You seem like such an amazing individual and I wish you all the luck on this project....I will be tuning in.

    K~

  • EXACTLY! *people* Thank you!

  • Yes, exact same thing for me, at least until mid-college. The only gay guy I knew was...well, a cheerleader. And yet I had a love of watching porn where men dressed up like the military did naughty things to each other.....adolescence up until about 17 or so was a really awkward time for me. >.>

  • Awesome job.

  • "This tastes like homosexuality and Catholicism"

That was the funniest thing I've heard in a while. Keep these going!

  • Hey, is that me getting on that bus?

  • Yep. Hi, Tobias!

  • you are totally adorable!

oh, and "cada beijo" means "each kiss" in portuguese.

regarding the pronunciation of "beijo", you could try something along the lines of /bay-sho/. with the shorter /o/ you find in the romance languages.

  • Really Fantastic video!

  • HAHA! Cool video! Very well made!

  • Great video!

  • I figured it out at 16 the same way; any porn, or fantasy, had to have men in it. It was all heterosexual so I though I was in the clear. Then one day I tried subtracting the women, & I knew from that moment on what was going on. If you'd have been around then, it would have been good & bad; good because of the teriffic role model, bad because I would have had one hell of a broken heart.

  • wow, you have awesome videos.

    i am jealous !! D:

  • You're amazing. :)

  • Hehe I love how you quoted Arrested Development.

  • WOW! HAHAHAHA dude you had me cracking up- GREAT comedic timing! so awesome. I never leave comments but seriously its so amazing to see gay men like myself that arent acting like HORRIBLE STEREOTYPES. Heres a question- How did u get up the strength to come out to the public on youtube? Thats alot bigger than just to close family and friends. But be honest- Will & Grace had its moments...even it if relied on those stereotypes. NEway Keep it up man. i may just subscribe for the 1st time.

  • Thank you! Really fantastic. I'm glad that someone is bringing a more personal side of things to YouTube. I hope that more people watch/participate in this idea.

5 Stars, I'll certainly be tuning in next time.

  • "The dictionary is a nosy little busy body", hahaha. I like this concept.

  • This is really taking off. Im so glad. :D:D:D:D

  • Wow, I am very happy to discover your Zaps. As an older man I am really moved at your intent. Thanks!

  • lmao "ugh its just like homosexuality and catholocism"

  • I really enjoyed the video; I had very similar feelings regarding homosexuality before I had come out.

This was a really thought provoking and well put together show.

  • Do you really think coming out your freshman year of college was "late"? Out of all the "Homesexual People" I know, of which there are many, freshman year would be early. Bravely early.

  • Love your work man!

  • Amazing idea! I've run similar programs in college. There is a panel with varying identities. The audience asks them questions. Then the panel leaves and the audiences comes to a decision about what they think the panelists are. Panelists come back and reveal how they identify and then the MCs lead a discussion on sexuality, assumptions, etc. Great idea with the ZAPs!

  • Nice lemon-cream drink.

  • i thought this was great.

it was insightful as well as full of your usual banter that i enjoy so much.

  • I never picked up on you being gay... dude, my heart is totally broken right now. :[

  • :D well done!

  • Excellent video. I was also raised Roman Catholic (am non-practicing now), so I can relate to the difficulties you had coming to terms with yourself.

  • brilliant idea! both answers were illuminating, really thought provoking. Thanks again.

  • Just enough puns, I think.

    Great video. :)

  • LOLOLOLOLOL.

"This tastes like homosexuality and caholosism."

    5 stars.

Im so glad I found you. You truely do support my inner love and pirde in my own homosexuality.

    Thanks :D

    Im so emailing a question!

I know you get a lot of them so I dont expect a reply BUT I think you zap channel idea is great and I will support it with all Ive got.

Loveing you in an unstalking way,

    Hugo

  • try to stay out of the dark! sweet.

    great start for ZAP!s

ps: i like the animated logo. (sorry. i was too quick to judge.)

  • hmm, i watched all of your previous vids, but i only now realized that you were actually gay. i thought before that you just defended them. well, i must say that you seem more interesting now than before :)

  • Great job, Matthew..kept it light and informative! :)

  • Great Job! I'm not sure how I actually found your site, or why I subscribed, BUT I am glad I did. Keep up the good work, it is appreciated!

  • baybe because your stoned to the bone? Many of my freinds seem to find the reefer confuses many matters quite handily.

  • I find your concept great, i'm involved with something similar. I go to high schools and talk about homosexuality; we do a little game, tell a coming out story and answer questions. The reactions are mostly positive, and some of the questions we get are really funny. Keep up the good work, can't wait to see your next video

  • I loved it! good job matt! (cada beijo) here. I'll email you with a couple of questions and the way to pronounce it ;)

  • please email your questions to me through yahoo instead of writing them in the comments section. This way, it's guaranteed that I'll read them, as they're much easier to organize that way.

    thanks.

  • Not that there's anything wrong with comments...I love comments.

  • I, for one, *am* feeling the logo.

Excellent job. You've handled the inaugural (and perhaps most difficult) questions with a healthy amount of wit and patience.

    And you use a Mac.

  • As a gay man what do u feel about Transsexuality.

    Thank U

    Naomi

BTW good job on the video
