  • oh godddd!!!!!!

  • Wake up people! If we don't act now, then when? basis analogy from grade school.. fish are for ocean and garbage is for_________? There should be a global law for proper waste disposal!

  • The blame should belong to the companies that make the plastic. I mean, we all have to eat, and we have to buy plastic in one shape or another. This is another reason why people should believe in a God. This world will not last forever, and I promise you that Jesus is going to come down to restore power. Turn to him yall--Jeremiah 29:11-13, and Acts 2:38

  • cool

  • HAIKU

    I hatch! Crawl! And swim!

Oh how I love my sweet life,

    Don't litter my home.

    —A Green Sea Turtle

  • Bags need to be made biodegradable. People need to celebrate abundance without feeling guilty.

  • Absolutely Disgusting

  • Don't purchase the product unless the store takes back the wrapping material, plastic, cardboard whatever it is..If they don't like the idea shop elsewhere. Small plastic food and product containers should by recycled by the purchaser. As consumers we have the power to make change we just have to unite.

  • The root of this is the love of money.

  • i bet if a person ate a piece of plastic he would get cancer. i heard about a women who kept gatorade in her garage and heat caused all sorts of nasty chemicals to seep into it. needless to say she got cancer. how do we know we arnt getting cancer by drinking a bottle of water with a tiny speck of plastick leftover from forming the bottle? we dont and thats bad.

  • Excellent production. I am thinking of ways to push all governments to move toward minimal packaging, made of degradable plastic. As the video says, ulitmately success will require much wider awareness and caring by the public about the impact of plastic on our own environment and health, as well as on the rest of nature.

  • great video! plastics are really dangerous for human and nature.

  • good video, very odd music though, weird synthesis of stereotypical dramatic piano music and new age crap.

  • UN TAN UN TAN UN TAN MOE MOE KYUN

  • The only way for plastic to disappear is to be incinerated.

  • Actually, that's not true. Yes, the plastic disappears from our eyes and maybe we can't see them. However, incinerating plastic sends millions of toxic chemicals used to make the plastic spiraling into our air.

Is that really what you want? The only way for plastic to disappear is to stop producing it.

  • save nature ,before we die in our own Puke and Urine. we should leave our children a better world with clear sky and pure water. we should allow them to look at the sky clouded softly by clouds not poisonus gases and swim in clear blue clean sea. if we do not care for other Species at least we should be scared for our young .

  • agreed, it really pisses me off when people say it's not their problem because they won't be alive when it gets bad.

  • @Walock151188

first we have to get ride of the blacks, jews, mexicans ect

  • very good video

    thx. 4 sharing

  • 4plastics411com is exactly right. People pollute. Most of the plastic water bottles we drink go Into landfills, 8 out of 10 plastic water bottles become landfill waste. Millions of bottles a day go into the trash they take 700 years before they begin to decompose! Plastic pollution is a worldwide problem folks. We recently purchased stainless steel water bottles from a company called "FOF Bottles". Their website has some great info on plastic pollution as well. We all need to do our part!

  • The answer to the plastics problem is recycling and reuse. Plastics don't pollute...people pollute.

  • Mother Earth tries to get rid of the invested virus that plagues her. She even sends out many diseases like the Bird Flu. This Failed. So the movie "Is it Really Happening", killing off human is actually consider a Good Ending in the contrary{D

  • its ok. u know what keep polluting cause it will just catch up with us. so go ahead litter its ur consequence.

  • I'm promoting unplastic Green bags -NOT polyethelene-the crap sea turtles mistake 4favorite food, jellyfish. Biobag is veg-resin, sinks, no floating nurdles, can pass through fish etc.without DEATH...victims of swallowing and suffocating from undigestable plastic, doesn't solve the toothbrushe,'trinket', water, product bottles packaging, etc-Green Plastics! Boo to petro-polyethelene-we have the tech, can be replaced with veg-resins. youtube - biobagusa - soon! Read Green Plastics! by Stevens.

  • yes I promote these bags also!

  • Please read and contribute to the

    Wikipedia article entitled "Marine debris".

We'd love to have some input from experts. It's a great way to educate and raise awareness of this environmental disaster!

  • so sad, great doc, check out our films.... best of luck :-)

  • There is a plastic garbage patch in the Pacific Ocean that now covers the size of the continent of Africa. If the production, consumption and waste of plastics continues at the present rate, this patch will double in size in ten years. Plastics are also sponges for extremely toxic substances such as DDT. Organisms consume the marine plastic, thinking it is food, fish eat the organisms, and so on up the food chain. This problem is one of the most pressing environmental concerns today.

  • yes I heard of that. but could not find it in Google maps. billy do you have the exact coordinates of this Pacific ocean trash vortex?

  • This is a thought provoking video and certainly calls attention to the plight of marine life in our world. We must all change our habits & how we package stuff for the sake of future generations and the planet!!

  • This is a very impactful video and certainly calls attention to the plight of marine life in our world. I would like to know more about what I can do to reduce the amount of packaging in products I buy. As the one gentleman said - we get excess packaging whether we like it or not. Who do I talk to about it? I feel like I would be a small voice compared to a large corporation like let's say - Sony. Where can I voice my concerns about plastic packaging overload?

  • Good information... this is all part of a big awakening that is needed... the basic way of life needs to be reconsidered before we can make the changes needed to keep our planet healthy (or if you will, to get it back to health).

  • Thanks for this important reality check.

  • There's so much ramble about the global warming propaganda and creating a global carbon tax. I wonder why they never talk about this.

  • my grandma knows the people who made this. Its kind of a boring video, but everything in it is sadly, true.

  • Here is a video that goes with the previous post

  • Just like smog another diabolical product from Oil.

  • Plastics are very harmful towards everyone uncluding animals and humans. I have done a movie with Algalita and have research and doing a huge presentation about the problems of plastic. I am wondering if u still have this movie file which i would like to have from you. Thx
