Note that those two redefinitions — sobriety and recovery — allow A.A.-dominated drug and alcohol treatment facilities, which are financed with public tax dollars, to advertise jobs as being reserved for people who are "in recovery, with at least 6 months of sobriety", and then only hire other members of the Twelve-Step religion. it is really religious discrimination, which violates many different laws, but they seem to be getting away with it anyway.
Better than burning out your brain with psychiatric "dual diagnosis" neuroleptic sobriety. I was a victim of this dual diagnosis ! Seroquel zyprexa sobriety hurt me.
damaged my health forever. exersize and sweating will never hurt you like shrink drugs. a lifetime of doctor bills and shrink drugs forever "dual diagnosis" treatment.
The courses and exercises in the Narconon treatment program are similar if not exactly the same as the Scientology courses, including the Introspection Rundown that killed Lisa McPherson. Scientology can't get people through the front door but don't allow drug addicts. So they get the people off drugs. Hence they can then become a Scientologist. The course costs around $20,000. People who are displeased are given refunds but in exchange must sign a gag order. Google:Narconon Exposed
My thought is this: Hubbard needed a way to recieve govt approval and govt funding. He also needed more pupils. Who is the weakest? Drug addicts. So bring them in, train them in Scientology and put them in a work group. Free workers. More members. Done. ITS CRAP

All churches have 501c3 IRS tax contracts, making all churches literally owned by the State, which means the State censors all religious sermons. Vote for President Ron Paul to kill the IRS and kill the income tax!
the program got me off heroin 8 plus years ago. I was never introduced to anything beyond the program. NO SCIENTOLOGY. I guess it depends were you go. If the staff are practicing scientologists. Even though it helped me scientology still freaks me out.
I went through the program. It is ABSOLUTELY 100% Scientology. And further, when I 'graduated', to go on staff, they MAKE you take scientology courses (and pay for them), etc. I have a TON of info. Really sick, great info on it. I should do my own youtube station on it.
If the program works does it really matter who sponsors it?
I honestly don't think that this is a recruitment source for the Church of Scientology, I don't know of any religion that would want to fill there halls with drug addicts and criminals.
I do honestly think that it is a recruitment source for the CoS. The CoS will go after anyone who has a loose grip on reality because they are perfect candidates for brainwashing.
Thats how this "church" is going to get away with the crap it does. "Well, they do such great stuff how can they be so bad?" Read about Lisa McPherson and others that have fallen to her same fate.

I guess it really depends on if the treatment is on a corperate chain connected to scientology or independitly owned like the one that i went to.

Yes it would be very interesting! Good luck if you do it, it seems that people denouncing the CoS are harassed sometimes...

These are weak and vulnerable people, thus easier to brainwash!
That's why it matters.
