wow you realize the easiest way to do this achievement is in Overwatch as the AC130 driver i got on there my first try

The easiest way is to go to spec ops Suspension in the alpha missions. To make life easy, just put it on regular

Grenade Launcher, White House. Know where three repel down the outside of the wall inside the building (two come down at the same time, a third a second later). Blast the wall between the two and get it easily.

I got this one in Special Ops on the level called Overwatch. i was the one up in the helicopter and I shot the helicopter while the guys were repelling down from it. I happens a bunch of times if you play the level on a harder difficulty so even if you miss a chopper you'll have a bunch more chances to do it granted you or your partner don't die in the process,

I got the achievement on the Spec Ops Alpha Mission of "Suspension" just as you start the spec ops there are guys rappelling down on both sides of the bridge, just shoot them. If you manage not to get it, restart mission, its the very beginning of the mission, so its easy to repeat til you get it.

On the mission No Russian, if you choose to play it, once you finish going thru the airport inside, as soon as you look outside and Makarov says "They're right on time" there will be a helicopter hovering outside, just fire at it with your MG til it goes down or you get the achievement =)
