great! what about lying down? I have a big dog- a 108lb Newfoundland. Would she be able to lay down or would we have to take her out of it? I called the company today and asked about these carts because it would be so good for Tinkerbelle if she could walk around on her own. Her arthritis in her back legs is so bad she literally has to be toted everywhere. She's always crying and we dont want to put her down because we love her so very much. This is our last hope. Thanks for the info
Laying down for a newfie would not likely be possible (they should never be left unattended in a cart). Short legged dogs can lay down (dachshunds, corgies) if they roll their front end up onto a pillow (back wheels are off the pillow). Some big dogs have been known to go up to a couch in that way to lay down their front end. These are wonderful carts for elderly, arthritic dogs. It will take the heavy weight bearing off her. can they go potty while in their cart?

Yes, thanks for asking. The carts are made differently for boys vs girl dogs so that they can go potty while in the cart.
